My favorite family are the Thomas-Brewers.They appear to be very close knit and there's always action going on there.
My least favorite family is The Pikes. They appeared to be very irresponsible by having kid after kid every year without taking a break and I don't like the way they treated Mallory.

I liked the Shafer-Spier house before Dawn left. It was just a nice little foursome and a cat. Then Dawn left and things got bittersweet. Richard got his happily ever after but Sharon didn't quite.
Jessi's family pre-Aunt Cecelia was too wholesome and perfect.

I love the Kishi family mostly just for Mimi, but I do love Claudia and Janine's relationship at times, but I do also love to read about the Thomas-Brewers. As much as I love the Pikes, I love the Thomas-Brewers more - I feel like they are the sort of family with whom anyone who spends time with them would end up feeling like part of the family. All the BSC families have their charms though, so it's a hard choice.

I liked the small families best I think, probably because my family is small. Mary Anne and her dad, Stacey and her mom, the Schafer-Spiers, and the Kishis. Least favorite, probably the Pikes...they were so heavily featured and I couldn’t relate to having a bunch of sibs.

Least favorite is probably the Schafer's. The dad reminds me of a frat boy sometimes lol. Sharon’s ok but that scatterbrainedness was turned up to eleven in the later books. And while Jeff is one of the better written kids we don’t see him very much to really know his character. I do remember him being terrible in book 64 though.
