Lisa? Watsona? I'm surprised she's not named after some dead Brewer relative. Or is it just a stereotype that rich people like to name their kids after themselves? ROFL! Watsona! I had been wondering if Lisa could be her middle name lately, but this is so much better. ;D

Maybe her mn is her mom's maiden name (long shot?) Lisa's maiden name was Packett (which I discovered when I read Karen's Doll). Karen Packett Brewer

^ Just was about to post that name. Not a good one.... For some reason, I could see her middle name being Elizabeth, which would be kind of weird, I think. I'm sure that isn't it, though, because she would definitely mention it in the two-two chapter but it does kind of sound nice. I know Elizabeth is a pretty common middle name, too. Speaking of middle names, I've been trying to remember what the BSC members' are. (too lazy to get out my Complete Guide ;D) I know Kristy, Claudia and Dawn's but can't remember any of the others. I think they were mentioned, though, in at least the Portrait collection books. Kind of surprised Karen's wasn't in Karen's Book.

Mary Anne doesn't have one, unless you consider "Anne" her middle name. Mallory doesn't have one, either. Elizabeth is a pretty common middle name -- it's Stacey's middle name! Jessi's middle name is Davis. I don't think Abby or Logan have middle names, but Shannon's is Louisa.

^ Thanks. I think Abby's might be mentioned in Lucky 13 but I might be wrong. I'll check when I'm not so lazy ;D Didn't realize Stacey's was Elizabeth. Davis is kind of interesting. Assume it was Mrs. Ramsey's maiden name. So maybe it is Karen Packett Brewer. Poor Karen! ;D

Sharon's middle name is "Emerson" which I always thought was kind of strange, but then again it could be Sharon's mother's maiden name.

^It sounds like the mother's maiden name as middle name may happen more frequently in BSC world.

i would think that karen had a middle name cos i don't know any young person who doesn't (well except for a friend that has a double first name - bye that i mean like 'Mary Anne'. my great grandfather didn't have a middle name, he just stuck in some letter, and my grandmother used her husbands name for hers.

Sparklymouse, I really, really hope her middle name is Watsona! I think you guys are right, if she was given a middle name, I'm sure she'd say "Hi, I'm Karen ______ Brewer!" in every single book. So that makes me a little glad she doesn't seem to have one. Unless her middle name was indeed Watsona, then I wouldn't mind reading that over and over again!

I now know what I'm naming my first born child. Not Watsona.

Maybe the reason she doesn't introduce herself using her middle name is because it is Watsona.

In re: to my earlier post on Abby's middle name, she apparently doesn't have one as the certificate they give her for her Bat Mitzvah just says "Avigail Stevenson". I'm surprised her middle name wasn't her mom's maiden ;D

Nah I think if Karen's mn was Watsona she'd use it to her advantage. "I am Karen Watsona Brewer! I do not know ANYONE else who has my middle name! It is very unique and special because it is the girl version of my daddy's name - Watson! I am different from other kids in lots of other ways, too! For example, I am a two-two! I have two of everything! Except middle names! Two middle names would be so gigundoly cool, though!"
