en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karen_BrewerHere's what gets me: At times Karen can be bossy and a bit of a know-it-all, particularly when she is in charge. She has an overactive imagination (something which notoriously landed her into trouble in the earlier books) and often has a hard time remembering to use her "indoor voice," especially in school. In certain instances, she deliberately disobeys her parents' rules (such as buying toy guns for herself and Andrew in BSLS #65 Karen's Toys) and she has a habit of stretching the truth And being a horrible....horrible person. In spite of these faults, Karen is still portrayed as a loyal friend and a kind sibling. That's pretty harsh. Obviously someone anti-Karen wrote this. It's so unfair that anyone can just edit these entries and put in their opinions instead of facts.

Annnd... if it bothered you that much, why didn't you delete it instead of complaining about it but leaving it there? I just deleted it myself, because while it amused me, it doesn't come close to the neutral tone expected in an encyclopedia article.

Haha, not sure why that bothered me so much. I actually saw an entry on Live Journal and was just feeling defensive. The most obvious thing would have been to delete it though. ;D I can't believe how easy it is to put whatever you want on that site but you can't even put up a pic or extra info for your favorite actor on the Internet Movie Database without waiting days and sometimes weeks for it be approved.

Was that in the main encyclopedia page? How do people manage to get into those and put stuff like that? And why do they waste their time? If people hate Karen so much, they should just not read LS books. To me, it is like someone hating eating a food and then eating it and going on and on about how much they hate it. Just shut up already and don't do it! No one is forcing you. It's one thing to snark a bit at something that jumps out at you from the books, but I can't understand why some people put so much time and effort into criticizing them. Sorry, I'm in a really terrible mood tonight so am probably a little to ready to take it out on the "Karen haters and BSC haters of the world" ;D

I think it's dumb to do stuff like that on Wikipedia, but I like Uncyclopedia. It's the encyclopedia where everything is made up!

Well everyone seemed to enjoy the BSC wikipedia that made fun of them and that was much harsher than this one about Karen.

^ Not everyone ;D Agree that one was harsher and it made me even angrier. Which is why I posted what I did about this one. I just think it's dumb to put so much time into a mean spirited joke. I barely find enough time to do things I enjoy so try not to waste my time on things that I don't. I guess some people have more time on their hands, though, or have different things that they find enjoyable (like being mean....) ;D

I think Karen is a brat. But she's not a bad kid, and certainly not a horrible, horrible person. I think the writer just took a joke a little too far. Tad unnesissary.
