This was not a memorable episode for me. I feel like they still oversimplify Stacey's diabetes. Her high blood sugar was not even outrageously high. The mood swings were accurate though, lol.

This was probably my least favorite episode. We find out Stacey was nominated for patient of the month (actually cover girl of the month - are boys not included in this?) Then she gets a magazine cover, then a fashion show, then the sitters get to be models, then they also design and sell pouches? It was way too much. Is there a gala every month for every winner?
It would have been better to say that Stacey's doc got an article published, so Stacey and her family came to support her at the annual fundraiser or whatever. Stacey could still have the drama of her diabetes running wild on the night she's celebrating advancements in medicine.

I agree with oldhickory, it was a pretty weak episode. Stacey's Emergency is one of my absolute favourite books (Becca and Charlotte cooking brownies! Stacey wishing she had her mum's folding cup on the train! The gifts that Laine brought her in the hospital!) and this episode literally had nothing that I love from the book. It wasn't even a real emergency, she didn't end up in hospital or in an ambulance, just with her doctor being completely positive about the whole thing. It was disappointing. However, one bright spot for me: I love Liz and Watson so much. And Kristy's relationship with Liz. I know I said it about another episode, but Liz really resonates with me, and I notice it much more so this season. She seems like someone I would be friends with.

I wasn't a big fan of this episode, either. Like oldhickory said, there was too much going on with the gala, the pouches, the magazine cover.
For a second, I thought she was going to pass out on stage and that that would be the emergency, but instead goes offstage, has some juice, and then everything is fine. So yeah, it does seem like they oversimplify her diabetes.

Eh. Not the most memorable Stacey plot line we got in this whole show. I liked the overall message about being kind to yourself, and Stacey being a perfectionist was cool but the gala was overdone and her diabetes was underdone. Either make the gala simpler or make her diabetes more dramatic.
Gosh, I loved the Kristy plotline. Elizabeth and Kristy’s relationship is just so beautifully written. Kristy being so excited about the new baby made me smile :’)
Not much to say about this episode otherwise? It’s my least favorite, I seem to have a thing against Stacey episodes, last season my least fav was ep 7 lol

Not much to say. I like how Stacey dresses.
