So, here is another favorite-by-state poll from somewhere that I've never heard of. How do you match with your state?

Me (Wisconsin): I've never heard of people eating baked potatoes as part of Thanksgiving. Therefore, not my favorite side dish.
I've never had mac and cheese at Thanksgiving, but I've heard that's very popular in some families. I approve greatly. I'm also loving the stuffed mushrooms in Alaska and the charcuterie trays. Creamed corn states...no.

I see that mashed potatoes are popular on the west coast. I watched the Weather Channel today morning and someone mentioned that mashed potatoes are popular there (for Thanksgiving). It's nice to see which states like that particular side dish.

Never had creamed corn, just regular corn. I had cornbread dressing this year. It was sooo good.

Charcuterie? I've seen almost all of these sides at the holidays, but never charcuterie. Poor Idaho enjoying side salads on Thanksgiving.

Oh, I assumed the charcuteries were the pre-dinner snacks. I didn't look at the map that closely. Montana has gravy...just gravy.

Here is an updated map for 2022. I'm not sure how it changed so much in a year. This one looks more Thanksgiving-y, so I'm not going to question the scientific polling process. I love the mac and cheese invasion along the East coast. I saw turkey shaped noodles at an Amish grocery store once. I kicked myself for not buying them for this occasion, but my family is rude and wouldn't appreciate Thanksgiving mac.
