^ This is the one. I like this one pretty well too. I feel for Karen and understand how and why she's jealous of Emily (though I know it's not Emily's fault - it's only natural for Karen to resent her and be jealous, I think) and think she's really sweet to her in the end. My favorite part is when Watson picked Karen up at the end and she kissed him "right on top of the head where he's going bald" ;D This reminds me of how I used to rub my dad's head when I was really little (on his bald spot ;D) and say "I'll shine your head for a quarter" ;D

^ Aww, that's cute about your dad And yeah, I resented my sister when she was born first, too. I was 6 years old and was used to being the only child - all of a sudden, I had to compete for attention, and I didn't like it.

i found it for you:) Karen Brewer wrote about it in the boo boo's death thread. it's in karen's black cat.
Watson had gone to a shelter and was actually planning on getting a black kitten, but Boo Boo came up to him and was meowing. When he picked him up, Boo-Boo fell asleep in his arms. Watson said he named him Boo-Boo to remind himself that it would have been a "boo boo" not to have gotten him.
^ I thought that Mary Anne said Boo-Boo just looked like a Boo Boo, fat and cranky or whatever. He didn't seem to be the kind of cat that got into stuff. But I still get this hilarious mental picture of Watson sitting alone in his mansion after his divorce with his cat. It's so sad and yet hilarious.
