^I hope any who wanted to did. Did Karen tell her classmates at school Ms. Colman was coming? I know she shared about the shopping trip and seeing Ms. Colman's home. I'm not sure exactly what Ms. C could have done (had she been aware that Karen shared this and maybe other kids felt hurt) but she should have said something. Does this make sense?

^Keeping Secrets is hard for Karen. Exciting news about your teacher coming over to dinner. Karen, probably bragged about it, at school. Unless, her mom & step-dad told her, she wasn't allowed to mention to anyone in her classroom. Not even her two best friends. (They didn't mention in the book.)

I reread this book. Cause of the cold weather and the snow storm, we had this pass Monday.
Anyways, Karen should had called Charlie or Sam, if they could do more snow plowing, for the new clients.

There were some funny random things in this one. First of all, Karen's obsession with her "sound box" and Dr. G the weatherman. It was a radio and a tape player. Aka a boombox. Not sure why they couldn't call it that. Then there was a bit with Andrew and Lisa and calculator instructions written by Martians. Then, Karen wondered what they should make for dinner with Ms. Colman, and Seth came up with "grilled monkey knuckles." What? Probably don't mention monkeys and Black people, Seth.
Karen messed up with the extra clients, but I'm not sure what kind of business that Charlie and Sam wanted. They bought the snowblower specifically to earn money by clearing neighbors' driveways. Then they could barely handle 3 customers. (They managed a 4th by skipping breakfast and rushing to school.) These Big House neighbors were entitled. Charlie and Sam were out there at dawn blowing out 3 inches of snow. You can easily drive in and out of your driveway in 3 inches. It's not like these people were trapped. Mr. Hsu in particular sounded jerky. He called while it was still dark out wanting to know where his snow removers were. Then Karen ran around like crazy looking for 4 quarters because he wanted change back for paying Sam. The guy couldn't spare an extra dollar?
I agreed with Karen. I liked "The Snowmen" better than "The Thomas Brothers." I would have turned it up further and been like "The Blower Brothers" or "Two Guys and a Shovel" or something stupider.
Andrew named his snowman "Bob". Same name as his hermit crab. Andrew really was not creative with the names. The Three Musketeers named theirs "Dudley and Fiona."
The snow day lunch was Alphabet soup, peanut butter and honey sandwiches, and milk. Andrew apparently takes letters out of other people's bowls until he has the name of every person at the table spelled out. Andrew sounds like an annoying lunch companion.
