^ That sounds just like me, sweetvalleygirl. ;D I've noticed that we share a lot of views on things on here. It's intersting to know you're an only child. Are you close with your parents too? I am very close with mine. I know lots of kids say they wouldn't know what to do without a sibling but I wouldn't know what to do if I had one. ;D I would probably kill them. ;D Just reading about Andrew makes me feel so bad for Karen and I think she's great to deal with him. I can't imagine how I'd handle a lot of the situations. I have a very low tolerance for frustration. ;D

I think it works both ways, Andrew puts up with a lot having Karen for a sister as well

That's true. I think Karen's intentions are usually good though.

Agree with you both. I was just saying that I feel for Karen because I can relate more to her. But I feel for anyone with a sibling is what I really mean (more, though, if I like them and I like Karen more than Andrew ;D)

^ I think there are some people who are just meant to be only children. I'm definitely one of them. ;D My friend's mom insists that her brother is one of these kids, too, but he had siblings, which is why he's screwed up. ;D

Me too. I liked my brothers a whole lot more when they left home though. We got along better once we weren't living under the same roof.

i think being an only child isn't too bad if you get along really well with your parents and are really close with them, but if things are rougher it's nice having other people in the exact same situation as you.

I've always loved having an older sis. My mom has five sisters and five brothers...now that is a lil too much for me.

I agree, Greer, about relationship with your parents being very important. I think that personality also factors in, as does situation. All I was saying was that some kids are better as only children and are happy that way while others are better and happier with siblings. I'm definitely an only child kind of person. ;D

^ I think like most things, nature vs. nurture exist together and reinforce each other. It's a very complex relationship. ;D (Okay, I'm starting to think too deeply about this. Time to give my brain a rest. ;D)

^ Definitely. ;D The title of this thread makes me picture Andrew in a suit. ;D He's so cute. Anyone remember what book he doesn't want to wear the tie in because it chokes him? I know I just read it but can't remember which one.
