HAHA I think I remember seeing that when it aired. The Maury show is always good for a laugh...

My mom saw that Maury show, I think. ;D Phobias don't have to be logical. I would also be traumatized if I was forced to do something that I was terrified of. Poor Nancy. Glad she got over her fear. I need to read this one soon as I really like it. ;D

I used to watch the Maury show and I found some of the shows very humorous! I didn't see that show, though. Some phobias are really odd, but oh well. I liked that Nancy got over her fear. I just love old people! Unfortunately, because I think old people are sweet and nice, I repeatedly get hit on by 80 year old men. One time I was at the store and when people smile at me, I smile back, and this old man smiled at me, and so I smiled back, and he was like, "Are you flirting with me?" I didn't know what to say to that, but luckily we were leaving...lol.

once i went to an irish bar on st. patricks day, and this korean war veteran was hitting on me hardcore. He was like, "I'd drive you to school every day. My daughters work for HBO." He also threatened to beat up my boyfriend at the time.

makes me think of the youtube video of the girl who goes on maury who's scared of pickles. ;D has anyone else seen that video? I have and I saw it on WGN when I was I think eight lol ;D. There were also people on there afraid of peaches and balloons and various other things. Some people say that's an act, but I don't think so. Why go on TV to make a fool of yourself and pretend to be scared of something when you're not? Anyway, I liked how Grandma B became Nancy's adoptive grandma. It was cool to see Nancy have a grandma figure in her life .

Why go on TV to make a fool of yourself and pretend to be scared of something when you're not? I would think they get paid for it. But...maybe they don't.

Some people are really excited to be on TV too. Why else would you go on those shows and look like the scum of the earth? (I'm not talking about the phobia episodes)

I think so. I really didn't think so many people would be scared or uncomfortable around old people... I guess I'm the odd one out. They're just people to me, I can always find something to say.

^ This just made me laugh (terrible, I know ;D) because my initial thought was that she was so old she was moldy. ;D (That sounds like something Sam would say, now that I think of it. ;D)
