Mr. Harding was a dentist, so they were probably pretty well off. However they didn't live in the neighborhood where Watson's house was, did they?

I'm not sure if it was ever mentioned, but then again I haven't read very many LS books.
I've been to birthday parties where all the kids fit around the dining room table by being squished a bit and adding extra chairs.

I just figure that if Pamela lived near Karen and Hannie, we'd know it. It would be part of Karen's Chapter 2, especially in the later books after the custody arrangement changed.

I don't think it'd be important enough to be a part of Karen's chapter 2, really. If you look at the map of Stoneybrook, there were several streets that were a part of the "ritzy" side of town. It's possible that Pamela lived on Edgarstone Drive (I think that's what it's called) where Bart lives. It would be far away enough that Karen and Hannie probably wouldn't be allowed to go there on their own. We'd probably hear about if she lived on McLelland, but not necessarily any random street that was in that part of town.

Ah, I see your point. I don't have the Complete Guide (or whatever has the map) and I have a hard time mentally separating the different neighborhoods in Stoneybrook. That works.

No worries; post it on your own site if you find it sometime, but no problem if you don't.

I have the CG, but I need to find my scanner. (The file would be on my old computer which is long dead, but I thought it was posted on lj, but I can't find the post.)

I could just hear her saying something like, "My best friend Hannie lives across the street from Daddy's house, which I love, but I also live near Pamela Harding. Pamela is in my class at school and she is a gigundo meanie-mo. She and I are best enemies. I do not like her living by me ;D.

omg if this was taking place now, Pamela probably would have had a superstar circus party and gotten a britney impersonator to do Circus hahah and actually Pamela copied Karen with the circus theme, but kind of owned her

Pamela couldn't have copied Karen on that, because Pamela didn't live in Stoneybrook until after Karen's birthday had happened. It's a strange, and maybe ironic, commonality that they both chose that theme. But also Karen's was a party with an actual circus performance.

Since Pamela's father was a dentist, I always assumed she lived in another well to do part of town.

Is Stoneybrook big enough to have multiple rich areas?
