^ Same for me. The thing I didn't like about the "Big House" is some of the characters and the way they treated Karen in a few books. Of course, Lisa had her moments too and then Andrew is always at either house.....(except when he's in Chicago ;D)

I like the chaos of the big house. My house was chaotic growing up as one of five children, but it always lots of fun.

I would rather read about Karen at the little house. The little house was peaceful and quiet and I like peace and quiet.

The little house just because it's more peaceful.

I disliked the little house books unless Karen happened to spend a lot of time at school in them. The little house family may have been lovely, but they were boring to read about. I didn't like how the random neighbor kids were obviously added to some stories to make up for the fact that Karen, Andrew and Nancy were a very dull trio.

^Haha, I always liked the part in Karen's Tea Party where Karen, Nancy, and Andrew are practicing their ballroom dancing at the little house. I'm pretty sure there's also a part where Andrew and Nancy are joking around at Karen's practice tea party and Nancy laughs so hard she falls out of her chair. And Karen is just like, "for heaven's sake!"
There's an illustration of the big house in Karen's Sleepover and it's really nice-looking. I can see how Karen is so into "a ghost haunts the third floor" just by looking at the exterior. Anyone know if there were ever any outside shots of the little house?

^ I know that there were shots of the Little House neighbhourhood (and Little House, too, I believe) on the covers of some books. It basically looks like a ritzy middle class neighbourhood.

I vote for the Little House which is something I never thought I'd do! I did enjoy the Big House family scenes in Karen's Lemonade Stand and also in Karen's Wish. Overall it seems those books don't show as much family interaction or smaller moments as the Little House stories do. I love like in Karen's Hurricane, how close Lisa seems there to her kids and Seth, too. Reminds me of a small family I admire and just always good to read about a happy family in general. Don't get me wrong, I love the Big House because that=BSC. I just meant in terms of the LS books, I often prefer the ones at the Little House.

I want to say Big House cause there is so much more to do. She has more friends in the neighborhood, more kids to play with, those nasty Saturday lunches she loves, etc. but Watson and Elizabeth seem to do very little most of the time, so I'm going to go with the Little House. Can't go wrong with Seth, an awesome best friend like Nancy who doesn't put up with Karen's crap, and the bond she and Andrew have which I don't see much of at the big house.

I change my vote. I like to read more at the big house. I also like to read the little house, as well. The big house is more exciting.

I chose big house because Karen and Andrew gets to be with a big family and they'd never be bored. When I was a kid, I used to prefer the little house because it's much more quiet and peaceful, but I think it's a boring place for Karen and Andrew.
