I love Raina's drawings. They're wonderful!

I just got this is the mail today, and really enjoyed it. Didn't mind the upgrades to Dawn's VCR to a DVD player, and Mr. P.'s tip of 10 dollars that became 50. I think I might get the other 3, so I have a complete set. Does anyone have a favorite? I got Mary Anne Saves the Day cause I enjoyed the original book the most.

^I really liked The Truth About Stacey--it has lots of fun details of stuff like them creating the Kid-Kits, Stacey crushing on Sam, and the sandwich boards. And baby Lucy is freakin' adorable (sulky Jamie is pretty cute, too). The one quibble I would have is that Laine doesn't look at all how I picture (freckles and pixie hair).

I like The Truth About Stacey the most. Laine looked nothing like I pictured her either.

This was the first BSC graphic novel I read. I actually didn't know they existed until I saw them in B&N. This is kinda what changed the BSC from something that was a happy memory in my childhood to being... back in my life. I pretty much loved this. I didn't mind the DVD player and whole-heartedly approved of the $10 being raised to $50. It always bothered me in the original book how MA and Dawn were like drooling over $10. Anyways, I loved Raina's drawings and all the characters looked pretty perfect, if not exactly like I pictured, they all made sense to me.

I got this and the other three Graphix Novels when they first came out. This and Claudia & Mean Janine are my personal favorites, I wish more will come out soon.

Really liked this one as well. Well drawn, good depiction of the story... It somehow made Richard more accessible for me, seeing him drawn out and meaning well... I somehow always imagined him much older! Also excited for the introduction of Dawn (though why is she blonde in this graphic novel and ginger in Claudia and mean Janine?) Was surprised again on how many times MA tried to reach out to her friends and was shut down... Especially Kristy! I felt really bad for her and her intense sad expressions! Seeing the fights between the girls at Jamie's party drawn out was amusing though

I reread this one the other day. My library just got the new all-color version so I checked it out. I had forgotten about some of the changes, like Stacey instead of Mary Anne being the first BSC member to sit for Jenny (when she spilled the paint water). I wonder who decided to change that part and why?
