I've got a question about their clothes... Often they wear layers of clothing, and all the layers get described. How did they know what each other were wearing underneath? The only example I can think of now is when someone mentions Jessi's wearing a leotard under a sweater and jeans. Did Jessi go around telling everyone that she was wearing a leotard? Did they assume she was? Did they ask? "Hey, Jessi! What are you wearing under that sweater, you sexy thing?"

I've been wondering the same thing for soooo long. I just assumed they translated it wrong or had different kind of sweaters or something in the US. I mean, how can you see what t-shirt someone is wearing when they're wearing a sweater on top of it?

maybe it was a cardigan. or the sweater sleeves were pushed up.

I figured they just assumed b/c she was coming from dance class that she just threw her jeans and sweater on over the leotard.

^I thought that too. I also always thought was gross, because that meant she was still wearing her tights, too -- you sweat in a ballet class! Come on, Jessi, bacne isn't worth avoiding Kristy's Look! Change your clothes like a decent human being!

I think she likes wearing her leotards even when she's not in class. Her entire identity is being a black ballerina.

I liked it better when she first joined the club and she actually had an identity beyond those two factors. Maybe then she could have actually developed into a three-dimensional, rather than one-dimensional, character.

Come on, Jessi, bacne isn't worth avoiding Kristy's Look! Change your clothes like a decent human being! haha! Jessi really was always wearing her leotards, though. It was weird. Why does Kristy's outfit always have to be "jeans, a turtleneck, a sweater, and sneakers"? Why the freakin turtleneck? How dorky!

Plus, sweater over turtleneck?! She must have looked like a miniature linebacker.

I used to wear sweatshirts and sweaters over turtlenecks when I was a kid because I lived in North Dakota and it was COLD. Turtlenecks aren't that thick, it was like wearing any other shirt under a sweater. But still, I despise turtlenecks and I don't know why Kristy couldn't have just worn a sweater sans the turtleneck! They just aren't flattering! On anyone!

I have another clothes question...where in the world did they get so much money to buy them? It seems like Claudia and Stacey, at least, bought their own. They can't have made THAT much money baby sitting!

Turtlenecks aren't that thick, it was like wearing any other shirt under a sweater. But how come Kristy was always wearing this outfit? For example, they would describe this as Kristy's "uniform" and then a few paragraphs later we'd find out that Claudia is wearing a miniskirt, leggings, and an oversized t-shirt. Why on earth was Kristy always so bundled up?!

Well, once in a while they'd thrown in a "Well, not in summer of course." or say that she wore T-shirts in hot weather.

People are always making fun of me because I wear a sweatshirt over a tshirt all of the time - even in the summer - but only in the house. I get cold easily but even I do wear shorts and tshirts when I'm outside and it is hot. As for turtlenecks, they bug me so I would never wear one. I can relate to Kristy's uniform, though, because I tend to have one of my own. I say if it's comfortable... I know Claudia and Stacey wouldn't approve but...
