(i know how traumatic it is to find out that mary anne spyer is in fact mary anne spier. your head wants to explode. i felt that way when i found out it was 'lyla' fowler and not leela fowler ) I love the name Leela, and now I wish Lila Fowler HAD been Leela Fowler!

I always thought it was lih-la fowler, like lily with an a instead of a y.

Kishi= Kish-ee Spier = Spy-er Schafer = Skaffer Papadakis = Papa-da-kiss Myriah = Mariah Prezzioso = Preh-sez-ee-oh-so (I still have no idea about this one) Kristy= Kirsty Rodowski= Rud-os-ki Laine=Lane Johansson = Jo-Hanson

I think those are just how she pronounced them, not how they are necessarily supposed to be pronounced.

You can definitely get a lot of proper pronuncations from the BSC movie, like Prezzioso, Rodowsky, Spier... I used to call Logan "Log (like a log on the fire) in"

I came across an interesting one in Claudia, Queen of the Seventh Grade...one of the girls Claud is running against is named Duryan Weinstein. How would you pronounce that? Doo-ryan?

I'd say it like the name of the durian fruit.

In my head I always pronounced it kind of like "Dur-ee-anne" which is probably wrong.
