^ Ah, that would be the best. I don't think Mallory will be super-gorgeous when she grows up, but she definitely will get some confidence and get trough the awkwardest stage - and that's enough to make her a cute girl. Freckles and red hair are awesome.

^ I think Mal will be pretty, too, and actually think she is already. At least she's pretty "inside." ;D Red hair always sounds pretty to me since it's so different from mine. ;D

I do agree that red hair is gorgeous. I think Mal will be a decent looking gal. I've never thought that glasses or brasses make people ugly.

I think Mallory could become pretty. Whenever I think of red hair, I picture Lindsay Lohan (before she died it).

I think Mallory is already pretty in her own way. It's just that certain people have stereotypes about glasses/braces not being pretty. In my opinion, I think Mallory's red hair, glasses and braces are just fine.

All she needed to do was get cuter frames for her glasses and learn how to handle her hair. Lesson #1, stop brushing it when it is dry. You will look like a cotton ball. I just read an Abby book where she rolled out of bed and brushed her hair too. Obviously none of the ghostwriters had curly hair.

Yup. If Mal had stepped away from the hairbrush, she wouldn't have had all that frizz.

As someone with glasses and curly hair, I couldn't agree more. Although, I'm thankful everyday for my hair straightener. And my D & G frames.

I think that when Mallory's an adult, she'll be pretty but I don't think she'll look like a model.

Does anyone else see Mallory getting her braces taken off, never wearing her retainer, and f**k**g up her grill?

No, I picture her wearing her retainer diligently and developing a lisp/spitting problem because of it.

I think Mallory will be a hot chick when she grows older. I've seen this all the time. The people who are considered ugly turn out to be so hot when they get older. They end up doing whatever it takes to look wonderful. Plus, she has a hot father so those genes will kick in soon enough.
