^ I loved Grandma Verna in BSC in the USA. Didn't care for her much in MA's Book and Secret of the Attic never tells as much as I think it does about her. I would have liked reading more about her. What was the book with the TV ban subplot? I think it was Abby's Lucky 13 but can't remember for sure. I love that one. ;D

aln, in Mary Anne's Book, there are a couple of chapters of when MA visits Grandma in Iowa. She even meets a *gasp* BOY, but of course, she's true to Logan. gag.

^ Thanks. I do remember all the references to Grandma Verna now. I was just saying that in the past, it used to confuse me as I always thought they were all from Secret in the Attic but was always surprised when they weren't.

^ It was the same for me....I'd read "Secret in the Attic," and wonder if I'd skipped a chapter!!!

^ which was so awesome that i had to go when i went to Minnesota when I was 15... heheh Man, if I'd known that the BSC went to Mall of America sooner I would've enjoyed myself even more than I did when I went (which was a lot, I loved that place) . I'd gone to this huge bookstore and ended up finding MA's Book .

Me three. Secret in the Attic ended abruptly, and it wasn't until I read MA's Book did it make any sense.
I myself hate shopping and hate malls, so the Mall of America would have drove me crazy. Though Camp Snoopy sounds like fun.

^ I'm not a big shopping fan, either, but I like it much more than I did as a kid. I would like to see what the Mall is like, though. Especially since the BSC went there. ;D Was Abby's Lucky 13 the book with the TV ban subplot?

Now I really want to go to the Mall of America. Maybe we can go in a couple of years.

Though Camp Snoopy sounds like fun. Camp Snoopy is so fun, I loved it. It has a roller coaster and a log ride ;D. Plus plenty of other rides and food.

Can someone help.. its been about 12-13 yrs since I read my last BSC book.. but there was one book that I remember the storyline but can't remember the title..
It's the one where Claudia goes to babysit for a family but they refuse to let her sit for their kids because shes Japanese.
Does anyone know the name?
