I finally found some writing on the notebook pages in the back of one of my used books – the Fire at Mary Anne’s House. The girl’s favorite part was “the fire” If she could change any part it would be “when Mary Anne joined the club” But… Her favorite sitter is “Mary Anne” The most important things in her house are “CDs, photo, Al, karaoke” Some changes she would like to see are: “some people taking the time to eliminate tobacco.” Not sure on that last one exactly what she means but I agree. ;D I got a good laugh out of this entry – especially after reading this depressing book. This girl's favorite part was the fire? Wow, that was the worst part for me. Anyway, I can't stand writing in my books or even see writing from other people in used books but these were all funny ;D. I think one of my BSC books came with the notebook entry filled out, I'm not sure though.

I've never written in any of my BSC books, but I write in a lot of books- the cookbooks, especially.

I just found a couple of mine! One is not terribly exciting, and its only a bit completed. lol. But I'm going to write out the pages from my Claudia's Big Party book [because I'm bored, and ... yeah ] Well, I'll skip the beginning, but I'll just let you know that I was 9 and in the 4th grade, apparantly: If I could change anything in the story, it might be the part when Claud gets bawled at. My favorite character in the BSC is Claudia [lol, I changed who was my favorite a lot.] The BSC member I am most like is Mallory because I have reddish hair and glasses. [Lol, I used to alternate between saying Mal and MA, I think] If I could write a BSC book it would be about mysteries/ghostsnext page: Well, I won't type this up. The most amusing thing on this page is "One thing I don't think my parents will ever give me permission to do is go to Welsh's. Welsh's is this local store back home, and it was a long way to walk from my old house. I think I meant walk there by myself, not go there at all. lol. And also, I just find it amusing, now. Lol. What a thing to not let your kid ever do, eh?

^ That's cute. ;D Sweetvalleygirl, I'm the same way with writing in my books. I am also obsessive about bending the binding. My grandma just borrowed some of my books and really bent them up (she "has" to crease them open or she can't hold them ) and I was like Arrrgh! ;D

I hardly ever find books with the back pages filled in. I do find a lot of books in general, not just BSC books, that have girls' signatures on the inside front cover. I don't get why so many people do that. It's funny though, because I still live in the same small populated area that I grew up in so I recognize a lot of the names I find, either people I went to high school with or their younger siblings.

I do have a lot of names written in the front (often bright, colorful marker with lots of stickers ) It irritates me because I can't stand writing in the books but if there is any, I want to read something funny. ;D

books in bad condition don't bother me. as long as the text is readable and it's not moldy or anything, i don't care about the cosmetics.
