^I hope not! What a nuisance, and how awful it would be to be so early!

I was 11, but I've been wearing a bra since I was 9. I hated it! lol when I first started wearing one, my mother would have to feel my back every morning because I refused to wear it every day. She had to check. So embarrassing.

I was a late starter, but I feel for you guys that started earlier. It's becoming more and more common for girls to even start at 7 or 8 years old. I couldn't even imagine! Melinda, I hated wearing a bra, too. Mainly because I was such a tomboy. Now, I feel naked without one.

My dad and stepmom thinks it's from hormones in food and stuff, so they only buy organic milk/meat/produce.

I've heard that before. What do you guys think? I'm not sure... it wouldn't surprise me, though.

I think it's better in the longrun for my sister and brother's overall health, anyway.

Very true. There's no telling what is in all of these processed, un-natural foods. It's scary to think about.

I started at 9 or 10, and I was so incredibly scared. I'm not sure I'd pick Stacey as someone who'd start early, I'm not sure if she'd have the right body fat percentage.

I can't imagine that either. I thought 10 was early enough . I can't remember how old I was when I started wearing bras (by that I mean real bras, not them sports bras ;D) but I never liked wearing them at first and now I can't imagine not wearing one.

I must have started wearing a bra between 6th and 7th grades becuase I can't imagine I went off to the high school without, but I honestly don't recall. I do know my first period started two days before the first day of 7th grade.

I got my first bra in 6th grade, cos I remember being really embarrassed. I think I started my period at age 12 so not too early but the first out of my closest friends.

I started my period when I was either 10 or 11 and I wasn't embarrassed, I just felt weird. I started to wear a training bra in fifth grade though and I hated it. I was a tomboy and didn't want to have to deal with wearing a bra.

I remember a friend started wearing a bra in 6th grade and she wore sports bras so she could claim she was wearing a bathing suit.
