I always age up the girls in my head and picture them at 15 for the most part, which would be perfect if they were in 9th grade anyway. My school had the grade system divided up so much it didn't seem to matter. I know Boy Meets World had a strange use of continuity but I kind of wish the BSC was kind of like that, grades 7-12 and not even mention their ages or grade change until it's time for graduation. Not every girl would make a big deal of their 16th birthday and not everyone could get a car at the same time. So true on that last part...I know when I was growing up, few sixteen-year-olds had their own cars. I still would prefer the school starting in sixth grade, though, especially since Jessi and Mallory were eleven. Grades 6-12 would be great in a fluid continuity timeline...the Harry Potter series sort of did that...except that in the U.K, sixth grade was called first-year and so on until twelfth grade, which was called seventh year...following how most European schools do grades.

Always pictured Mallory and Jessi as 12 or maybe 13 and they could be in 7th grade.

I just picture all of them older.
New wish, I wish we saw Sam baby-sit Karen and Andrew. IN the first book it's mentioned that he sat for them at least once. I wonder what he was like with them?

That would be interesting...I doubt it would be too often, though since it was just once. Another wish...I wish Anna had joined the BSC, at least as an associate member, if not an alternate officer like Abby. Anna had lots of interesting potential as a character in the BSC. I have Anna join as an associate member in my stories on the BSC in high school. It would have been neat to see some stories from Anna's POV.

Sam and Charlie sitting for Karen and Andrew probably happened more often since the wedding. I just wish we got to see it.

Sam and Charlie sitting for Karen and Andrew probably happened more often since the wedding. I just wish we got to see it. But we're not really sure of that. Anyway, Charlie and Sam were not members of the BSC and are not main central characters, so it would detract from the series' main characters to sidetrack to Charlie and Sam. The series was centered around the main BSC girls, not the non-BSC boys. Anyway...I still wish Anna, who is the same age as the BSC and Abby's identical twin and is quiet and rather sensitive like Mary Anne, had joined, at least as an associate member. There would have been more plot potential added in the series.

^ they can still watch their younger siblings from time to time though, and it wouldn’t take time away from the BSC.
My wish is still Tiffany as a an associate member and she consistently stayed 11.

Double posting, but I really wish we saw some more members sitting in Kristys neighborhood more and see more of those underused kids.

Apart from Karen and Andrew, the Papadakises and the Kormans (and the Delaneys before they moved), we didn't really see much from Kristy's neighborhood.

I kinda pictured the neighborhood being a bunch of old, rich retired people.

I kinda pictured the neighborhood being a bunch of old, rich retired people. That’s how I originally pictured the neighborhood in the main series. Then in the little sister books they have enough kids for Karen to play with, and I’m like why isn’t the bsc sitting for them? maybe they all have nannies or Shannon is taking more jobs then we think 😉

They probably have some nannies, but not lots. There probably are some well-to-do retired people in Stoneybrook. I'm glad, though, that most of the well-to-do Stoneybrookers don't flash their wealth.

For all we know Mr. Kilbourne drove a Prius and wears an expensive watch.
