If the BSC members were dogs, what do you see each one of them being?
I see Kristy as a Border Collie. Smart, rules her territory, keeps all her sheep together.
Stacey would be something small and annoying that wears a lot of doggie clothes. A Yorkie or a Chihuahua maybe.
Jessi, maybe something a little exotic like a Greyhound. Long slender legs and has a special talent.
Any ideas? I'm not much of a dog person so I don't know a lot about the personalities of specific breeds. I just know what they look like.

Claudia - a Shih Tzu. They have long silky hair and they're Asian. That's all I got.

I don't know a lot about dogs and I'm not a dog person, but I do know about a few breeds.
Shannon: I can see her as a Bernese Mountain Dog, don't ask why, I just do.
Mary Anne: Miniature Poodle, again don't know why.

I'll really have to think about this. I'm a dog person, so I'll take this seriously.

I know why Mary Anne would be a miniature poodle! First let me say that I've never owned a mini poodle, just a regular sized one. IMO, MA, like a tiny mongrel, can be all yip/try to bite or a so-called friend lying in wait for you to forget a phone message or declare a move to CA. Aside from the above, as you all know, I am totally a dog person. I could see Dawn as a dalmation since her spots, like MA's, often change to suit a situation or her own ego. I agree about Kristy as a Border Collie, Sparklymouse. Just goes to show "sheep" really are in! www.gotoquiz.com/what_breed_of_dog_are_you I got "Lab." I did what I thought would be answers for a couple of the BSC Members: Kristy: German Shepherd (yikes keep--probably--away from me) I know they like any breed can be just as friendly as any other. Claudia: Mixed Breed Anyone want to try the rest? I'm too hot and lazy.

Ooh - dalmation for Dawn is good! They can be really mean despite being cute and popular dogs. My first thought for Kristy was German Shepherd, too. They're very loyal, smart, and dedicated.
I LOVE that Claudia is a mixed breed. That's hilarious!
My first thought for Jessi was a Black Lab because you can't just say a dog is a lab... you have to specify that it's a black lab (or yellow or chocolate).

Oh - I got German Shepherd on the quiz. My absolute favorite - now I know why! BTW, that quiz was ridiculous. I hate, hate, hate when people spell stuff the way it is on that quiz.

I've considered getting a lab one day, myself. I read a story once, possibly in one of those "Chicken Soup" type books where a German Shepherd out of no where "knew" to show up a a family's rural home when the dad was away and the mom felt uneasy about that. As for the quiz, I didn't much care for the answer choices or that one of the questions was repeated. Here's a real short one: www.quizmeme.com/dogbreed/quiz.php And finally, here's a better version of the original: quizilla.teennick.com/quizzes/101910/what-common-breed-of-dog-are-you

even though chow chows are chinese, claudia has to be one because it's asian and its name sounds like it eats a lot.
my family had a mini poodle named gracie for years until she died last year, and she was the greatest dog. she was pretty energetic when she was younger, but as she got older she mellowed out a lot. she was so sweet and unassuming and loyal, and so i am another person who thinks MA should be a mini poodle. i miss gracie a lot.

Everything I've heard about chow chows is that they're kind of psycho.

I apologize Oldhickory for forgetting what you once shared with me about Gracie. Hug, poor Gracie. I take back the comparison to her breed with MA and instead go with what Sparklymouse said about Stacey. I thought MA (as a dog) might look the part of a sweeter animal until...so that was why I didn't immediately label her as a yorkie, chihuahua, or rat terrier. I know not any breed of dog is created equal and that their behavior often depends on who their human(s) are so maybe she could be a poodle apart from Gracie. Anyway before I dog myself deeper, chows: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chow_Chow

oh mona, i'm not mad. little dogs can definitely have attitudes, and gracie was the same way too before she was trained :]
ps. did you say "dog myself deeper" on purpose or was it the best unintentional pun ever?
