I can't remember all of Too Many Boys, but she felt conflicted, and though she didn't want to go on a date in Maynard, Ohio, she still did. Though he turned out to be such a possessive jerk with no boundaries, she might have led him on too for a long time.

Though he turned out to be such a possessive jerk with no boundaries, she might have led him on too for a long time. No, she didn't "lead him on" anything...they were just incompatible. I'm glad they eventually broke up...they weren't right for each other. |
