So where do you think the clients would be today? Assuming the clients would all be adults now if they'd continued to age. I'm not close to any of them in age though... Based on their ages when the series started in 1986: Jamie Newton would be 30 now, and Lucy would be 27. The Pikes: Claire (31), Margo (33), Nicky (34), Vanessa (35), Adam/Byron/Jordan (36), Mallory (37) David Michael Thomas would be 33. Karen would be 32, and Andrew would be 30. Charlotte Johansson would be 34. EDIT: I hope I did my math right! Also if there already is a thread like this please take it down!

That means, also, that Charlie, who was 16 in 1986, would be over 40!

^ That's funny to think about, because we all know Charlie considered 35 to be "practically over the hill."

Kristy's Great Idea. Karen asked Charlie how old he was and he told her to guess; she guessed 35.

Crazy to think that all of the clients who were little kids in the series are well within appropriate dating age for me right now.

This is so weird. I know they're fictional, but thinking of the BSC as adults is much easier to picture than these kids.

I think some of them, are married and have kids. Probably move to a different state. Having jobs.

Wow, it's crazy to think of the kids all grown up! I bet some of them are married, with jobs and families.

^ I would like to think that too (them getting married). It would be cool if Karen married Ricky (I bet Ann would like it if he came home saying "Karen. I'm home."). And if Vanessa married Derek Masters (they almost smooched.).

This is a good question! I've never really thought of them as adults much, and it's astonishing to realize that (most) of them are older than me or around the same age. Keep in mind that I am the same age as the toddlers. Weird.

I could have potentially gone to school with Karen. Eek. And David Michael and Nicky are older men. I just had the thought that I could see multiple Pikes in the military. Maybe airforce? Andrew is somewhere wearing sweater vests and khakis and being groomed to take over whatever exactly it was that Watson did.

That would have been cute if Karen and Ricky actually ended up getting really married!

I admit to preferring to think of the characters as the ages we knew (and still know) them as. But now that I have gotten to know and like Karen more through the LS books and discussions on here, she is more "real" to me, too. It would have been sweet had over the years she and Ricky fell in love. If there ever were a BSC book that took place in the "future," I think I would like to know that Ricky and Karen had gotten married and even after all these years I still would love to believe that Mary Anne and Logan did, too. But then, , I just enjoy reading about our favorite BSC characters as they are and always will be and would just enjoy (even more) a future book about them as we have come to love them.
