Yeah I'm doing that one. I'm up to chapter9 as of now..I should have it finished by Sunday. I say this all the time, but this time I'm sticking to it. So basicly, the delay is due to part complacency and business with assignments.

Actually, Claudia and the Lighthouse Ghost is neither green or purple. Instead, it's blue.

I have also noticed that too and found that pretty quite amusing and entertaining. My favorite Claudia Mystery is the Recipe For Danger.

I thought most of the Claudia books were blue? New Girl, Bad Joke, Crazy Peaches, Sad Goodbye, Perfect Boy, Middle School Dropout and Great Search are all blue. (In the 'old style' covers, at least.) Phantom Phone Calls, World's Cutest Baby and Genius of Elm Street are pink. Live from WSTO! and First Thanksgiving are both orange and Middle School Mystery is yellow and Keep Out, Claudia is that tan-ish browny cream-like colour. Claudia's Freind Friend and Big Party are purple. Little Liar is yellow/green. Mean Janine is green, though.
shannon86: That's my favourite Claudia mystery, too! And one of my faves, anyway. And it's also green!

Since this thread kind of spawned into a discussion about the book colours, I wanted to add in that I wonder how they picked each book colour. I would have done it probably rainbow style... that way there could be some consistency?
Some of the book colours look like baby diarrhea.

That is something we will never know, we could always ask Ann on her Facebook page.

You could. I doubt she would give a good answer. She'd probably say it was up to the Scholastic art department.
