I'm not talking about Cam Geary but an actual starry sky. What books showed the girls looking at stars? I know BSC on Board, Stacey wants to see an "out in the middle of the ocean starry sky." In TSB, there are lots of comet sightings. Probably Camp Mohawk has a campfire around the stars, same with maybe Shadow Lake which I will read soon. I haven't read Claudia and the Lighthouse Ghost in ages but remember the sub-plot of that was about an upcoming comet. I'm asking this because I would love to quote a brief star BSC mention in part of my book and it would be cool to know the choices. Thank you, everyone. ETA: This is O/T to BSC but related, if any of you has a picture of a real star-lit sky I would gigundoly appreciate being able to use it in my book, possibly even to preface the Stoneybrook chapter. Please e-mail/PM me. I would definitely credit you (the picture taker) either by real, BSC board or alias first name, whatever you wanted.

Thank you for looking Greer. Maybe as we each read we can keep an eye out for any, that and did we ever figure out when the Perkins' disappeared? I know we had talked about trying to figure out.

I do think it was because the girls just got older in real life and didn't want to be in the books.

^I think so, too. IIRC, mentions of them went away for a while, came back, only to leave again. I do hope the real Perkins did enjoy reading Stoneybrook Stories about them. I can understand that as a younger kid doing so might also be awkward.

Maybe in Stacey's Book when she and Mara camp out?

But I can imagine kids making fun of them once they were old enough to read the BSC themselves

One from Baby-sitters at Shadow Lake, page 177: "Above me, the sky was black and the stars shone fiercely."

Thank you, Boo Boo and Celaeno, I have been wanting to read some summery BSC scenes that I haven't in a while and will read those two this weekend. Always do love the peaceful and fun feel of Shadow Lake and it has been so very long since I've read Stacey's Book that it will sort of be "new." Greer, I think Ann is also still close to them. I hope they did at one time enjoy reading about one another in the BSC. I can see how doing so might be more positive younger and then now (adult) than teen years. Though and of course, lol, Ann has never mentioned me in any books other than maybe in the heart on the cover of Stacey and the Stolen Hearts (still think that says Mona), but the idea of being in Stoneybrook is so cool that in print would be fun, too.
