I read my first Abby book and I realized that Abby's is my favorite because it's the most like mine. Most of the others give me a headache.

I liked Shannon and Abby's too. Also Kristy's. Sometimes Mal, Dawn and MA were okay but sometimes they were almost impossible to read, especially MA's. Claud's seemed to get worse with each book and Jessi's was often unreadable, too. I can't really remember Logan's but I think it was fairly neat printing, which I liked. Kind of unusual for a guy's handwriting but makes me think how my uncle has very nice, neat handwriting and my aunt's is unreadable scrawl.

Well, in the U.S. military everbody writes in capital letters. It's supposedly called "recruit handwriting." OMG, I never knew that! My father was in the military for several years and always writes in all caps. Now I know why. ;D I think Kristy's handwriting is probably my favorite because it's very neat and not too big. My own handwriting is big and bubbly and seems to be a cross between Stacey's and Mary Anne's, but less neat than either of theirs.

^ I didn't know that about the military handwriting, either. Maybe the reason my dad writes in some strange half caps/half lowercase is because he was in the army for a few years ;D Anyway, I think my current favorite handwriting is Kristy's, too. Also, like a lot of the earlier handwriting better. Most of it seemed to get worse as the series went on. Stacey's is also nice and MA and Mal's aren't too bad. Claud and usually Jessi is unreadable.

i liked mal, kristys and dawns because they were all easy to read and neat. i cant stand jessis or mary annes, it hurts my eyes. too loopy and 11 yr olds dont write like that, grandmas do. and claudias was just... *shudders* I know! Mary Ann and Jessi's writing was so old! I'm 20 and I can't even write in cursive like that! It was totally unbelievable.

I always thought that Jessi's handwriting looked like that because of the ballet influence. I dunno.

^ How would ballet affect the handwriting (not saying it couldn't - just not sure excatly how)?

The swirly look of it makes the letters/words look like they're dancing?

^I could so see Jessi saying something like that. "I love to dance. I'm in ballet. I'm practically a professional - not to brag, but I'm the best 11 year old dancer EVA, everyone knows it. Dancing makes it way into all aspects of my life - even my handwriting!"

I always thought it was funny that Kristy's handwriting was so neat. Mary Anne's seems to fit her personality well, I agree. I hated Claudia's (mostly because of all the misspelled words). I agree that Jessi's was WAY too nice for an 11-year-old. I liked Mallory's and Dawn's, but Abby's annoyed me because it was so big and loopy. I tried copying Stacey's when I was younger, but I could never make my a's and e's look like hers and putting hearts above the i's took forever.

I always like Stacey's handwriting, as well as Kristy and Dawn's. I thought Jessi's was rather hard to read, and I HATE Claudia's handwriting. It's messy, cramped and she spells everything wrong. Very hard to read.

I hate Stacey's handwriting. I mean, it's okay cause it's easy to read, but honestly, it's ridiculous. Definitely very 13 year old girlish.
