I loved Kristy's bubbly handwriting and Mary Anne's slanted writing even though it was hard to read it at times
I loved Shannon's neat printing as well.
In my class journal, I would imitate their writing styles and do a different one each day.

I like Jessi's handwriting. I hate reading Claudia's and Mary Anne's

I like Abby and Dawn's best since theirs are so easy to read.

Same here. I have noticed on the rereleased books, all the girls handwriting is much easier to read.

I like Kristy's the best and it's easiest to read, but I like Dawn's too. I'm not sure why the other girls seem to think that MA has the best handwriting. I hate reading hers, but Jessi's is the WORST! Does anyone have Chain Letter or Secret Santa? Why is it that the letters Jessi wrote were so long? That drove me crazy because I didn't even want to read them because her handwriting is awful.

I like Kristy's the best because it's clear and relatively simple in form. I agree with Supprazz about Shannon's printing. Worst, no question, is Jessi's.

Stacey's is my favorite...I remember trying to write like her as a kid! Jessi's is my least favorite since it's really hard to read.

I don't know what was up with Claudia's handwriting. Most artsy people I know have pretty, flowing handwriting regardless of their English skills. Claud's looked like she was forced to write in cursive with her opposite hand. And it always looked so painstakingly done, kind of like when a person is trying to copy someone else's handwriting. Reminds me of something I saw once on the TV show "Forensic Files." Jessi's cursive with the long tails was so hard to read. Mary Anne's was a little better but slanted so much to the right that it was hard to read sometimes, too. I think I liked Kristy's the best.

I always thought Claudia made her writing as messy as possible on purpose so maybe people wouldn't notice the mistakes if they spend more time conentrating on what it was she was trying to say rather than how she wrote it.

^You could be right about that. I sometimes will put a tiny heart instead of a dot under an exclamation point and always think of Stacey (hearting her "I's") when I do so.

I hate reading cursive, but somehow Kristy's isnt hard to read. I never liked Mary Anne's or Jessi's! Dawn's is probably the easiest to read, but as for favorite, I say Kristy's.
But also -- you guys already mentioned that both Logan and Robert wrote in all caps. I just finished SS 3 Winter Vacation and noticed that Pierre (Stacey's LUV in that one) also wrote in all caps... what?! Did someone just assume that all males wrote like that?

didn't the same person (like a staffer at scholastic) do all the handwritings? that's why they all look so similar.

^ Yeah, one person did all the handwritings. I don't remember the name though.

^ Yeah, one person did all the handwritings. I don't remember the name though. It was an art director. I believe the specific person is named in the back of Graduation Day.
