I agree with you candykane about the Pikes' eating rules. My parents had a rule where if you didn't like what they had for dinner, you could either make your own or go without.

I know a guy who likes banana's only on cheese and mustard sandwiches. It makes me feel sick like Margo would! Oh and it reminds me of the Pike boys, since they seem to eat the weirdest things.
I agree about having a rule for dinner! It would be more work to clean up after them with them having whatever they wanted or just having what you cook!

I am always grossed out by the Pikes’ eating habits, too, and find that the books are pretty inconsistent with what they say the rules are regarding dinner at the Pikes. As for rules regarding eating at my house, I was always lucky (probably another benefit of being an only child ;D) since my mom always let me help plan dinners so I pretty much got to eat what I wanted almost all of the time with just some compromising. Maybe this is why the Pikes’ eating seems especially gross to me.

i hate the pikes they are all spoiled brats. Claire is whiny and bratty Margo is gross and peels bananas with her feet and seems unkempt and disgusting Nicky is a whiny complaining kid Vanessa is self centered and a pain iin the ass rhymer The Triplets are jerks Mallory complains and is too negative the parents just allow all the bad behavior and are too indulgent
and the food eating habits are disgusting how can they just let anyone have free range to the food? that doesn't teach kids anything at all.... oh i could go on and on...

She threw up on the way to Sea City -- not in the first one, but either in #34 or SS#10.
It was gross.

She throws up during take off and landing, twice during the storm at sea, after riding ... space mountain i think, and then at both take off and landing on the plane home. So yeah, she threw up in SS#1.
