This episode was awesome! And I agree, Pete Black was kinda cute. For those who haven't seen it yet, you can check the entire episode out at youtube.com/barneysbobbyboy

This was one of the two BSC episodes we owned on video when I was a kid, and even though I didn't watch it as often as I watched the other one (BSC Christmas), I still feel like I've seen it a million times.
There was one thing that always drove me crazy watching it. In the scene where one of the boy baby-sitters is sitting for the Rodowskys, Archie spills his glass of milk - however, the kid playing Archie just looks at the glass of milk and then pushes it over, without the slightest trace of acting. It would drive me crazy every single time I watched this episode.
The reason I'm thinking about this is because I made french toast yesterday, and I'm pretty sure I think about this episode every time I make french toast.

^ Isn't it Jackie who spills the *carton* of Milk? I think Archie is the one who is eating the jam out of the jar at the time. But you're right, it looks like Jackie purposely knocks the carton over. The spilled milk is used to make French toast. I laugh because it's such a guy thing to do (be lazy and not worry that the milk was on the table before using it to cook with).

Ah ok - I don't remember which Rodowsky it was; only that the child actor wasn't that good at his job. I guess I should have remembered that Jackie would be the one to make the mess!

I thought Jackie was one of the better actors on the show, lol. He was actually a pretty successful child actor. Wonder what happened to him.

I saw the title of the post, which is cut off to "Babysitters vs. the Bo..." and for a millisecond expected the full title to be Baby-sitters vs. the Board of Education because my brain is weird.

I thought that Pete and Kristy were dressed pretty cool in this episode. Pete was just the coolest boy sitter eva ;-)

Candy store is mention in Mary Anne & too many boys. Chapter 12. That was one of my favorite scenes in that episode.

I used to own this VHS. I watched it a lot and I loved it. I always do think about the French Toast scene when I make French Toast.
