I like Janet I like old-fashioned names a lot, too. There seemed to be a lot of double names...in addition to MA, DM, and EM, there was a Rose Marie at SMS, a Katie Beth at Jessi's dance school, and I think Squirt was John Philip, not just John. Interesting considering double names are much more common in the South. Ann's father was southern (from Louisville) so maybe that inspired her.

I know Mary Anne is a double name but for some reason it never stood out for me as such, or maybe MA was just MA. David Michael and Emily Michelle, their names I confess did bug me sometimes. I did wish just once DM, especially was David or Dave or Davy, I just and maybe this is just me, find it hard to believe that a 7 year old boy would always want to go by DM. EM was sometimes called Emily. I also do like the name Haley and in fact at times when pondering names for future children (if I should ever be in a place to adopt any) I do like the name but would probably also spell it differently.

The double name thing reminds me of the tv show The Torkelsons. The kids all had double names: Dorothy Jane, Chuckie Lee, Steven Floyd, Mary Sue and Ruth Ann. The show was set in the south, but when they moved to Seattle in the second season there was a joke that there should be more kids with that many names. I rather like double names.

I always like the name, Elizabeth. Such an old fashion name. If, I have a duaghter in the future, her name will be Elizabeth Rose. Elizabeth Rose is a gorgeous name! If I have a daughter in the future, her name will most likely be Olivia Grace. It's a very common name, yes, but I just love it. In my opinion, it's beautiful and it has a nice ring to it.

^I once taught a preschooler named Olivia Grace. I also have liked the named Charlotte and also sort of related Cyndi for Cynthia or better Hiyacythina. I do enjoy thinking about names and if I should ever have kids I just know I would want to be sure they had their own name (no Jr's or II's) but it would be cool (to me anyway to somehow incorporate names or letters in names of people who I really love. Like my Grandma's first name began with a D and my Grandpa's an S so a name that had those letters in it could be neat, that sort of thing. Back on topic, I know all of you know Jamie is my favorite charge. I also think his name Jamie Newton suits his sweet and fun personality. I also like Sari Papadakis. I do like how Jordan and Vanessa Pike sound. As for the BSC members, their names are just so synonymous with each of them that they work.
