I've been thinking about this and realize I've actually known several sets of twins - fraternal and identical - of all different ages. The other day when I mentioned this to my mom, she also reminded me about a family that she knew with 11 kids that had 2 sets of twins and a set of triplets - all 10 years apart. Made me think of the Pikes ;D Wow...I bet their parents had their hands full!

I know/have known quite a few sets of twins, mostly fraternal. I went to school with a few sets of identical twins, at least I believe they were identical. The have very distant cousins whom I've never met who are triplets! They're babies. Their parents already had two preteen daughters and wanted a baby. Ended up with three! I also vaguely remember a triplet set born in my grandmother's building when I was very young. I think that both sets had two boys and a girl.

There were two sets of twins in my high school class- a set of identical girls and a boy/girl pair. It was kind of unusual considering there were only around 30 people in my class.

My late grandma was twin. Her twin sister is still living.
My friend's younger sisters are twins. I never met triplets before.

I have fraternal twin cousins and then I work at a child care and we have a set of boy-girl twins. I've never known any triplets or higher order multiples. I've never even known identical twins. I now have identical twin nephews who are about 5 months old and so cute. My daughter just turned 1 and she is less than impressed with her cousins. She was not happy with me for holding one of them and gave him a grumpy look.

In the little sister book, there’s the bates twins Callie and Keith. I wish the bsc sat for them at least once.
Oh and there’s a mention of a boy set of twins at sms mentioned in book 10.
