I'm not sure if I've just forgotten about Ethan or if I just haven't read many of the books that have him in them. I know he's 15 and an artist but that's about it. How long do him and Stacey date for? Why do they break up? I feel like I remember her dad wanting them to spend more time apart and stuff... but it's rather fuzzy. Opinions on Ethan?

^ Do they ever break up? I don't remember them breaking up so maybe it's in the FF series, which I haven't read.
I like him better than Robert but he's not my "type". (The earring, for one thing ;D) I think he makes a decent match for Stacey, though.

hashahaha i like ethan too  as i can recall, in the first friends forever, stacey's dad decides to limit stacey's time with ethan cause he keeps on seeing ethan in front of nightclubs and stuff. and then ethan also begins taking an art class on saturday. however at the end of friends forever it seems as if stacey and ethan are headed back together, because when all of stacey's boyfriends magically reappear in stacey and the boyfriend trap she realizes that ethan is the one for her. |

ahhh okay, thanks greer. I've read those FFs but only once each so my memory is fuzzy. I guess I'll have to re-read and get an opinion on Ethan cause right now I think of him as kinda skeevy and pretentious.

Watching Boy Meets World and Topanga meets another guy. Very arty episode and the guy reminds me of Ethan. Haha Ethan also had an earring? Episode came out in 1998. Ethan seemed to have been introduced in 1996. m.imdb.com/title/tt0530944/ exactly what I thought Ethan would be like in my head |

I like Ethan. Of all the characters that are described as cool, he DOES actually come across as cool. But also super nice. Definitely a better fit for Stacey than Robert, but the long distance just probably didn't work out (plus the age difference. It didn't seem odd to me as a kid, but as an adult, a 15 year old dating a 13 year old seems like a big gap).

Stacey dated Sam too when he was 15 and the age gap felt really big then too. But Sam was such a dork that he didn't feel older. Ethan actually feels more grown than Stacey.
I think long distance for teens is ridiculous, but honestly it's probably safer than a regular relationship because they're less likely to have sex or make risky decisions when they are geographically separated.
