Hey, I thought Jeremy seemed nice. Just a bit overwhelmed and confused.

I was thinking about "Kristy and the Kidnapper" and came to the conclusion that the reason she got such a lame plot was because the writers didn't have anything for her to do. I mean she made up with her father, but she clearly wasn't going to stay in California with him. So that was done. Whereas Claudia & Stacey had the fight and Mary-Anne had the growing up to do. So Kristy was left with the stupid plots.

^ I didn't mind Kristy Power with the banned book controversy.

I'm reading Everything Changes right now, it's the first one I've ever read of the FF series and I'm trying to go in order. I feel weird reading it because I still haven't even read the entire regular series, but it's not like I don't know what happens in books i haven't read.
Anyway, it's WEIRD. I HATE the format of the letters and diary entries. Are all the FF books like that? Kristy's entries are awful. I'm bored reading this book... I'm about halfway in, I guess, and nothing has happened.

^ I hated Everything Changes. Kristy's "abbreviations" and Claudia's pathetic spelling. It's very annoying to read.

I read FF3 (Mary Anne's Big Break Up) over the weekend and... okay, is it just me or is it the exact same plot as Mary Anne Vs. Logan?! She's feeling smothered and breaks up with him and is sad. I did like it, it was just sort of redundant. And honestly, I kind of wanted to just shake Mary Anne and be like "dude, you're THIRTEEN! You'll get over it!" Love reading about her hanging out with Claudia and stuff in this book. Very cute. Oh, and in this book, MA is looking through pics/letters that Logan gave her and there's a picture of her that "Kristy took the day she got her haircut" Riiiight. I also read FF4 (Claudia's Friendship Feud) which was good, for a Claudia book. I like Erica, but I felt bad for her when Claudia wouldn't shut up about Stacey and then actually CALLED her Stace. WTF. It's interesting to see Erica's character, for some reason I thought she'd be a lot like Claudia, but she's not, which is refreshing. I don't get what the big deal is about Jeremy. Stacey is a little snot in this book, and at the end i was really happy they didn't make up cause I dig the drama

I was actually mildlly entertained by them. But then, sometimes I like stupid, poorly written things.

okay I just read Stacey and the Boyfriend Trap... lame. And her and Claudia made up Nooo! Please tell me they start their fight back up! I like how Stacey acknowledges she's had an ungodly number of bf's. But then she says "well, what can I say, I like boys and I have never had a problem finding boys who like me!" (paraphrase). Um okay, conceited much? I don't see what the big deal is about Jeremy. He kind of sounds like an not a very nice person if you ask me. I think he's leading both girls on and basically just wants whoever he can't have at the moment. Oh, and Toby... lol. What a loser. Sounds like a typical 15-year old boy, though. ETA: fyi, if you try to write @$$hole, it substitutes with "not a very nice person"

I think Jeremy is just dumb and doesn't know what to do. He doesn't seem smart enough to actually lead people on intentionally. I also thought Toby had morphed into a total geek from his earlier appearances.

I also thought Toby had morphed into a total geek from his earlier appearances. It was strange how he morphed from OMG SO TOTALLY COOL in Boy-Crazy Stacey and MA and Too Many Boys... until he "dumped" Stacey and then became a total idiot, chasing after both Mallory and Jessi. As for his behavior in Stacey and the Boyfriend Trap... ugh

I'm reading Claudia Gets Her Guy now and I have to say, the girl that portrays Claudia on the cover is PERFECT. She's so cute! She is the type of girl they should've cast for the TV show/movie.
