Stacey's Secret Friend annoys me because it makes me think of porn. Hahahaha! ;D Count me in as another who pronounced it "Claudia's Friend Friend." And I always read "Kristy + Bart = ?" as "Kristy plus Bart equals question mark." I have to say, Mary Anne + 2 Many Babies is probably the worst. Greer's right, there was just no reason for it. They should have thought of a better title, especially since Mary Anne was with too many boys not that long before this book. (That came out completely wrong, but you know what I mean . Also, I was never fond of Mary Anne and the Great Romance. It's so vauge and not really all that appropriate for a book about her dad's wedding. When I was a kid, before I was interested in boys and romance and all that fun stuff, I thought that title was the most digusting thing ever. ;D

^ I actually loved the title MA and the Great Romance because for some reason, I figured out right away that it was about Richard and Sharon and assumed it was kind of a Parent Trap thing with her and Dawn setting them up. I never wanted to read books that I thought were about the main characters' boyfriends (refused to read Boy Crazy Stacey for the longest time ;D) so am actually kind of surprised that this is one of the first ones that I wanted to get. I must have read the back of the cover or something and found out what it was about, though. ;D

One time in elementary school I was waiting for my mom to pick me up and was reading Boy-Crazy Stacey. One of my friends asked what the book was and when she saw "boy-crazy" she was like "omg boys gross!!" Haha, I was kind of embarrassed ;D

That one never bugged me that much because I don't really do the pause. I can see how it could be annoying, though. ;D

Claudia's Freind Friend. I wasn't, and am still not sure how to say it out loud. When I was a kid I said "Claudia's Friend Friend" too. Also, what's with all the crossing out the BSC did? To this day I still cross out words, even in memos at work because of the BSC and assuming it was not only OK, but the norm. Did they never write in pencil or have white out? I guess the idea was to say "hey kids, the BSC makes mistakes too, nobodies perfect, it's ok" but Gosh... Mary Ann + 2 many Babies was way ahead of it's time. Little did Ann/Ghostwriter know that 10 years later the number 2 would practically replace "too" and "to" all2gether thanks to texting and the internet.
For me, "Little Miss Stoneybrook...And Dawn" is more about inflection than anything else I see it as "Little Miss Stoneybrook" (said in an excited bubbly happy way" and "and dawn" kind of wryly or seriously.

I always disliked the title "Jessi's Gold Medal" just because it spoiled the suspense of the Sports Festival. I didn't even have to wonder if Jessi and Elise would win their category.

^ I definitely think that something like "Jessi's New Sport" would have been much better for that one. ;D
