The title of Mary Anne + 2 many babies drives me crazy for some reason. I know other people are annoyed by Claudia's Friend Friend, so I was just curious. This is not mean snarkiness... I still like the books mentioned in the poll Also, if there are other "weird" titles with symbols in them that drive you crazy, feel free to point them out in the comments!

I also hate Mary Anne + 2 Many Babies because there's no real reason for it. Plus, there's MA and Too Many Boys.
What about Kristy + Bart = ? ?

It doesn't have any symbols in it, but I've always hated the title Goodbye Stacey, Goodbye. It always makes me think of Alice in Wonderland where she says Goodbye,Dinah, Goooodbye for some reason.

Karen's in Love kind of bothers me because the apostrophe is not possessive, so it doesn't fit with the LS naming pattern.

I voted for Freind Friend because the others don't really bother me much at all.

I was in 3rd grade when I first read this book... and for the longest time I couldn't understand why the freind is crossed out. But now I get it. And it is REALLY annoying.

Stacey's Secret Friend annoys me because it makes me think of porn.

I think Claudia's freind friend is the most annoying. Especially when you see it written in books without the "freind" bit crossed out.

The crossed out Freind bothered me most - probably because I'm a real "Karen" when it comes to spelling, sometimes. ;D (Not that my spelling is that great - there are some mistakes I just can't tolerate. ;D)

Karen's in Love kind of bothers me because the apostrophe is not possessive, so it doesn't fit with the LS naming pattern. That drove me crazy when I was a kid! Aesthetically, Claudia's Freind Friend bothers me, but at least it makes sense in conjunction with the book. Whereas there's absolutely no reason to write "Mary Anne + 2 Many Babies" (well, it might have fit on the cover better in their standard font, but so would a title that wasn't idiotic.)

^ Kristy + Bart = ? always bothered me for the same reason as 2 Many Babies. Karen's in Love bothers me because I always get it confused with Karen's Wedding. I think that one should have been Karen's Wedding (when she marries Ricky) and the one with Ms Colman's wedding should be something like Karen's Flower Girl. Or maybe a take from the BSC - Karen's Big Day. ;D

Karen's Big Day would have been a cute title for either of those!

Claudia's Freind Friend always bothered me as well. I get what it was referencing to in the book, but it still bothered me, even as a kid.

The crossed out freind bothered me to no end, so much so that I don't even remember picking up the book to read because of it. I also am a real Karen when it comes to spelling- Karen's Prize is one of my favorite LS books because her journey through the spelling bees reminded me of my own spelling bees in grade school .
