Just posting to say that I haven't been around lately because I've been doing extra hours at work and also packing for a move to another province. I just wanted everyone to know that I haven't disappeared forever, I've just been really busy. I'll probably have more free time this week since I'm not working extra hours, but then after that I'll be computer-less for about a week and a half, because my computer will be moving to our new home slightly ahead of me. So I will completely disappear for another little while, but then I should be back! I've missed the BSC community. I might be visiting my parents right before the move, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to gather up a substantial number of my BSC books that are still at my parents' house and take them with me to the new apartment.

Good luck with the whole moving thing! I've just been through that myself, so I know what you're talking about. Don't forget these boards

All of my BSC books were in storage before I moved....gotta say, it's nice having them around again!

I have moved, and I managed to gather up all of my BSC books that were at my parents' house (except for #89: Kristy and the Dirty Diapers, which I couldn't find), so now all my BSC books are here with me! I can't actually put them on shelves until my boyfriend and I move out of this one-bedroom apartment and into a two-bedroom a few weeks from now, so the books are just going to have to live in boxes for now. Luckily, we're moving to another apartment in the same building, so I just have to drag all my stuff up one flight of stairs rather than across town or something.

Congrats on the successful move! Will you be displaying the books nicely on shelves, when you get the chance? Or will they be hidden away?

Oh, I'm going to be displaying them nicely on shelves. For the first time since I was about twelve. I'm looking forward to it. We're hoping to move into the two-bedroom apartment sometime this week. The only thing that sucks is that I think I'm going to have to put two rows of books on each shelf, so only the spines of the books in the front rows will be visible. My boyfriend and I are both librarians (well, he is a real, live librarian, and I have a graduate degree in Library and Information Studies and am looking for my first real librarian job). We kind of have a lot of books.
Edited to add: Congrats on finishing your collection. I know I congratulated you on the BSC LJ, but I feel kind of bad for not doing so here, as well.

I understand completely about the move! I'm in the process of moving right now myself. I hope to be settled in my new place by Nov.1st. I'm packing right now and I hadn't realized how much junk I had acquired over the three years since I've lived in this house! I need to get rid of a lot of things like books, clothes and other random stuff that I don't use anymore but all of my BSC books will stay. Right now I'm trying to get a complete set for my daughter to read when she's older.
