I'm also a member of the Lois and Clark Message Boards and have participated in several "ficathons" for the series. How it has worked was that you choose three things you want and Don't want in the story, the season, (there were 4 seasons of that show, not sure how that'd apply to us, maybe pre-Dawn, Dawn leaves for the first time, Dawn's baaack, and Dawn's gone. Really Lol 
For L and C, it was specified whether stories were to be strictly G-Rated or if you wanted some more adult romance in your tale--n-fic. Then you emailed your form to whoever was organizing the ficathon and they sent your request to someone else. It was anonymous until you posted.
"We" could maybe pick a book's idea we would like re-written (Island Adventure), a sub-plot, (The kids' mail order madness), or something never before BSC read or that we wished we might have seen such as Stacey hanging out with Charlotte not as a baby-sitter but as the "almost sister" they claimed to be.
Endless possibilities, I think. Any takers? Great Ideas?
