^ Oh, I think goodwill is a great place to get the BSC books. Am disappointed I couldn't find more there ;D I don't know why but Katie's post just struck me as funny because it made me think of like a reject cover (not that goodwill doesn't actually have some good stuff - it's just the stigma that was always attached to it as an insult when I was in school like "you get your stuff at goodwill") Good luck getting more books (ugly covers or not ;D) at goodwill for cheap.

I would have to say the newer version of Claudia and the Phantom Phone calls (the one with the panel of pictures down the left side). Okay, one, could Claudia look any MORE like a mexican man in a scrunchie? And two, what is with that midget she's holding looking down her hideous shirt?? To this, I just have to say: hahahahahahahaha.

I can NEVER find BSC books at Goodwill. If I do, it's like the first 7 books or something. Our Goodwills suck

I get most of my BSC books from Goodwill too. I think it made me cheap, because now I cringe whenever I spend more than .50 cents for a book.

I get a lot of mine from the Goodwill and the Salvation Army. They tend to have them uber-cheap.

Our Goodwill sucks as far as BSC goes! One of the covers that I find particularly bad is the scrapbook edition if Kristy's Great Idea. I like the vintage cover better!

Yeah, I don't like any of the Scrapbook covers on Vintage books!

I also like a lot of the vintage covers better than the scrapbook ones. But I like the notes in the back of the scrapbook ones and the questions, too ;D

Hands down, the least flattering cover IMO is Island Adventure. Yikes. Fug City! The interior illustrations are just as bad, if not worse. Other winners (or maybe losers, depending on how you want to look at it): : Kristy's Great Idea (New version)- it's ironic that the two more "sophisticated" members look hideous. (I hate the new Stacey design, the one that shows up in some of the later books, and the one on this cover. I much prefer HorseFace Stacey to this one.) : Good-bye, Stacey, Good-bye (New version): I agree with Tiff, who on her blog said that Dawn looks like Snake from Degrassi and Stacey looks like a Stepford Wife. It cracks me up, though, that while Claudia is waving to Stacey, she's not looking at her! It's hilarious! Dawn's Family Feud: Oh my. Poor Dawn.

^Dawn looks like a 50 year old man with long hair in that illustration. And I've always said that Stacey looks like a zombie on the cover of Goodbye Stacey Goodbye...that picture proves it. ;D
I don't like the new KGI cover either, but I have to say I love how they put an actual nancy Drew book casually on the floor. I think I have that book (it's The Secret of the Old Clock, I believe).

^ I never noticed the book on the floor. I will have to look now as I'm curious. It does sound like a nice touch ;D

Claudia looks weird because they slapped a new head on her body. It's creepy and doesn't match up well and it looks like she's giving the "talk to the hand" motion.
