I haven't read this one, but I'm assuming there's a reason why David Michael's dressed like a chicken?? I find Kristy's hands weird too. Is she supposed to be clapping? I also find the Thomas-Brewer's kitchen a little odd. Does anyone actually hang their pots and pans up like that, because in my head I'm picturing them constantly banging together.

DM is dressed like that because he has a role in his school play, I think, don't quote me on that because I haven't read this in years. And yes, some people hang their pots and pans in their kitchen, we don't in my house (except for these copper pans we have hanging on our kitchen walls for decoration) but my mom's friend hangs hers in her kitchen and they only clang together if you slam a door hard or something ;D. So back to the cover, this is my first time seeing the new cover and I love that they kept the picture from the old cover and put it on a purple cover (my favorite color ;D). Somehow I pictured their kitchen to be bigger, but then again this is most likely only a small part of their kitchen lol. Also, Watson's bald spot is really shiny ;D.

Nannie needs to look at a color wheel before she dresses Emily Michelle. I definitely agree. I love the colors they used here(Lavender and purple). I really like Kristy's pic here, and I think their kitchen looks really nice, but DM's costume is kinda boring, for a theater,I mean. I don't like Watson's pic here,'cause he looks really fat here, and it isn't how I pictured him(Watson's pic in Kristy's scrapbook is how I pictured him ;D).

The girls looked sunburned. My family has the same lawnchairs.

^ Cool. ;D Not one of my favorite cover pics since the girls all look much older and different than I picture them. At least it's a nice, sunny (no pun intended ;D) looking cover, though. ;D

Dawn's grabbing that girl's pigtail like she's thinking "a little peroxide will take this ugly brown color right out". The girl laying on the towel in front has a weird tan going on. Her armpits and inner thighs look white.

^That is an odd tan.. I'm not sure I want to know how that happened. ;D And why's that girl wearing socks at the beach, or is it by the pool? Not your usual beach wear...

i think the pool looks really nice. i like the little waterfall in the back. is the girl with the socks on (which is strange) wearing a bathing suit or some sort of top, (it looks strange). and the little girls hands seem to be in an awkward position.
