Lately every book I've read has Karen and her friends or some of the BSC charges in need of money. The first thing they always do is check the couch cushions in their homes and end up with a large percentage of what they need. So the other day I tried to nonchalantly check the cushions of the furniture in my work's lobby. Boo and Bullfrogs, someone must have gotten there before me. All I found was a quarter and a dirty piece of candy. ;D[/quote]
At least you found a quarter!

Today I was talking to my mum about these amazing waffles I'd eaten recently and I accidently pronounced waffle iron, as waffle 'eye-ron' ;D

Sometimes I'll use words like "gigundo" or "meanie mo" but my parents are mostly up on "BSC lingo" by now. ;D

Lately I've been thinking the word "yo" after my sentences. I've never said it out loud, thank goodness, because I'm not from New York.

I say "oh my lord" sometimes. Or "Wow" sometimes when I'm in shock, like Stacey has said a few times.

I say "hi-hi" rather often. And the other day I called my boyfriend a meanie-mo. I forget why.

I like to use "gigundo" and "boo and bullfrogs" on occasion.

"Booooooooo" is a favorite. But that's not just a BSC term, my hubby uses it when he has to stop at a red light or something like that ;D

HAHA I've been thinking about everyone having diabetes in the back of their mind every time they were really thirsty And I remembered a few months ago I became really sick and had weird swollen throat (which I originally thought was tonsilitis) but then developed a rash, so I decided to go to the doctor, totally thinking I had mono just like Mallory (every time I'm sick I read "Get Well Soon, Mallory" and THIS time when I was sick my symptoms matched Mallory's and I looked up mono). The doctor did some tests, also thinking I could possibly have mono, and I was dissapointed when they came back negative No Mallory disease for me.

^I had mono in college, but I was disappointed because my symptoms weren't exactly like Mallory's (I had no "golf balls" sticking out my neck), and I didn't even know I had it until I went to the hospital.

^ I guess you both got lucky. ;D I've never had mono but hear it can be really awful. I tried to make my own haunted house after reading some of the BSC books. It got me in trouble, too, because I tried to freak out my little cousin and wouldn't let him out of the basement where the "house" was set up and just kept trying to scare him. ;D Of course, it didn't help my case that I coerced the Pastor's daughter into helping me. ;D I usually didn't do things like that but I think I was rebelling a bit since it was during my aunt's baby shower and I was jealous. A little bit of the Jamie/Lucy Newton situation, I think. ;D I did get the haunted house idea from the BSC, though.
