i used to hang out with this girl, and we were being babysat by the same person so we sat in the corner with a plastic phone pretending we were the BSC, and I started out with asking the normal questions, "Does your kid have any allegies?" and it went along like that until my friend started making it more interesting by asking the "clients", "Do your kids have rabies? Do I need to lock them in the basement?" Somehow all my BSC games ended up being "The BSC goes Crazy". Hahaha! That sounds like fun, crocetti! ;D I used to play BSC all the time. My friends and I would run around at recess, pretending to solve mysteries and hold club meetings. My friend and I called ourselves Mary Anne (me, since I have brown hair) and Dawn (my friend had blonde hair), because our moms started to become friends. This totally excited us for some reason, and we'd go to each other's houses to celebrate, kind of like how Mary Anne and Dawn would get together when their parents were dating. Also, I wanted to start my own BSC. My friend and I even made fliers, but it never went anywhere. I used to write BSC books and make myself a sitter. I even have notebook entries from the "sitting jobs" I went on. ;D And also, when I started baby-sitting for real, I decided to start my own notebook. I got about halfway through my first entry and got bored with it, so I stopped. Kristy wouldn't have liked that too much.

I have my share
When I was in the fourth grade, which was the same time I began liking Dawn, I tried to write like her, tried to eat healthfood and stayed away from red meat. I also searched for a secret passage in my house. I didn't find one but I found an interesting alcove underneathe the hall closet. That was a good enough find for me
It was basically Dawn that I tried to copy.

^ I think I briefly tried to copy each one. Eventually I stuck with Mallory, as she enjoyed the things I enjoyed and it didn't take much effort to keep up her persona, particularly the dorky, whiny thing ;D

Hehe, I totally tried looking for a secret passage in my house too, even though it was pretty small I wonder if theres one in my new house...

^ I've done that too! My friend was convinced there was a passage in her house (even though it was new at the time, built in the early '90s), so we spent many, many hours together knocking on walls and even searching for trapdoors.

I wish there was a possibility of a secret passage in my house but there definitely isn't. Not one in my grandma's either, so I've always been disappointed that I never even had to bother looking. ;D

By the time I got into the regular BSC (I read LS first) people had grown out of it so even if I wanted to play BSC (which surprisingly I never did, maybe because I am an only child and probably thought at the time that it would've been dumb to play it by myself ;D) most likely no one would've played it with me. Did anyone ever own the BSC dolls? I have a Kristy doll and it actually looks just like I pictured her .

Well, apparently Claudia had some kind of sick influence on my sartorial preferences that is only worming its way out now.

^ ;D I can see Claudia wearing those in leopard print or some other wild print with a equally wild print shirt, but one that doesn't match, of course, because "only Claud" can pull that off. ;D

I can see Claudia wearing those. They look like they'd be really uncomfortable though.

They're so shiny that they look like they're made of plastic, but I know that's probably not the case. If I were ever going to dress up as Claudia, though, I think I might have to include those in the outfit.

I've gotten into saying "Oh my lord" a LOT since i've gotten onto these boards. I can't believe how much it slips out of my mouth. A week or so I said "dibble" and my friend looked at me as if I had lost my mind.
