her writing looks just like mine! i was so excited that my handwriting looks most like hers, instead of claudia or jessi.

Janine's handwriting looks pretty similar to Shannon's IIRC. Interestingly, they're both considered very smart.

I am always jealous of Shannon's handwriting, I can never get mine that neat, no matter how hard I try!

I've seen two different versions of Shannon's writing that I can remember: in Karen's Roller Skates when she signs Karen's cast - her handwriting looks a lot like Mary Anne's, and in the book where Shannon and someone else are sitting for the Barretts and DeWitts when the kids weren't getting along. In that book it wasn't handwriting so much as fancy printing. I can't remember which book that was? Was it a Dawn book?

Shannon's handwriting is the closest to mine though I admit, my handwriting is very messy. lol... My penmanship is sorta like a "fatter" and messier version of Shannon's.

I believe you're talking about SS#12 Here Come the Bridesmaids (Shannon was baby-sitting at the Barett/DeWitt wedding I think). I think it makes sense that her handwriting would be different in the two books. In the club notebook, she's writing in her normal handwriting, but on Karen's cast, she's writing her signature. So we see both her printing and her cursive.

^I decided to check my books. It wasn't SS#12 (I've never read that one) but it was Dawn's Family Feud where I saw Shannon's printing. Club notebook entry with Shannon and Claudia sitting for the Barretts and DeWitts.
In Karen's Roller Skates, Shannon wrote "Best Wishes from Shannon Kilbourne" in Mary-Anne-esque cursive on Karen's cast. That LS book was first, and Dawn's Family Feud came several years later. So I guess it's just an inconsistency due to the long time span between the two.

Another book in which Shannon is sitting for the Barretts/Dewitts is Dawn & Whitney Friends Forever when they are looking at houses to move into. That was a nice chapter and I really really loved her neat writing there, I could stare at it and even used to try to practice to get it that neat, but I just couldn't.

It seems very painstaking to write like Shannon. Stacey, too.

I like Shannon's handwriting. It's so neat. I think it would take a lot of energy for me to write like Shannon.
