^I noticed Mal was dancing with a redheaded boy at the dance! I hate to say it, but he was not attractive...Ben in the book illustrations was much cuter.

I also noticed that Jessi was dancing with a black boy, which was a tad odd (I'm not going to lie). Dawn being angry at Mary Anne made no sense, I mean she didn't mind control this boy to like her or anything. There's one part of the episode that has made me both laugh and think a lot. How did Sharon know the caller was Jamie Anderson when she didn't even touch the phone? Maybe it was the best they could've done back then with filming and TV. This episode will always remain a favorite of mine.

I know that Jessi wasn't the only black kid in Stoneybrook. It just seemed like Jessi and Mallory were dancing with, I guess I could say the male versions of themselves. Like when they were dancing, Mallory was with a redhead boy and like I said before, Jessi with a black boy. Those two things are also a part of their character and regular traits!

Now that did seem a bit funny...but maybe their dancing partners might not have had the same features as Jessi and Mal did.

Thought it was so stupid how Dawn thought the mix up with Mary Anne's fault..I mean Mary Anne has Logan for crying out loud. When I first watch it (20+)I was a bit peeved at how bossy Kristy was about resolving the fight, but looking at it now I am surprised she didn't put her foot down sooner.

This opening has all of the girls coming out of the school. I love that Claudia could fit a human into her bags if she tried. (I need a big purse, but hers is incredible.) Everyone is super huggy on these steps. Then they start to leave school and walk by hottie and other more average boys playing soccer.
Dawn: “How do I get him to invite me to the dance?” Stacey, whose milkshake has been bringing all the boys to the yard for years: “Beats me.”
Soccer hottie keeps saying “ya’ll” like he’s Logan or something. Then he asks Logan’s girl out. How was that not a bigger deal?
Dawn has the biggest fish all over her bedroom walls.
Dawn’s being so mean! It’s not Mary Anne’s fault that soccer hottie is such a tool.
I’m pretty sure that this song at the dance is a sped up instrumental version of Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley? It sounds like it to me, but that is such an odd choice.
I like Dawn’s barette. It looks like something that Judy Jetson would wear.
Mary Anne is dancing with a random dude who is not Logan. I wonder where Logan was in this entire episode.
