I had a thought...what if each of us who are able to do so were to buy two copies of the new book when it comes out? One to keep, and one to donate to our Lisa Libraries project in honor of Afton. I think she'd like to know that she was helping to introduce a whole new generation of kids to the BSC. Plus, it would drive up sales a little bit, which might lead to more books in the future.

^That's a good idea, starrynight. I would definitely be up for doing that.

I think that's a great idea.
The prequel now has a page on Barnes and Noble's site as well, although it doesn't give us any new information.

I'd buy one to donate, although I'd probably get it shipped to one of you... shipping it here only to ship it back to the states again seems pointless!

I wonder if it will be written in true BSC style- first person narration and super special layout? Ooh, I hope so. I want it like that ;D.

Since Ann's writing a prequel, I kinda want her to write a sequel about the sitters during the summer after graduation, including those that weren't in the club when the book Graduation Day was published, to see their thoughts, them doing other things apart from baby-sitting, etc.

It'd be nice, but I'm not sure it'd swing. I'd LOVE another spin off series, more CD in style, about the girls in HS, doubt that'll happen either

This is amazing news. I haven't been on this board in awhile, and... wow. I'm so excited about this. I'm so glad to hear that it's legit, too. RSG
