I was thinking of the word "zooey"...I know I remember reading this in some book to describe the Pike house or something...it was a zoo, things were zooey, etc. But is that actually even a word? It makes me think of the book Franny and Zooey, or the actress Zooey Deschanel. I just went to dictionary.com to see if it's a real word, and nope, it wasn't there. Hmm. Does anyone have other examples of (non)words you came across in BSC?

^I believe "zooey" was used to describe all the charges in Snowbound (before the storm).

i hate the word dibble. no self-respecting 13 year old would say that. i always imagined it was an abbreviation of incredible, but why wouldn't they just say incredible?

I was actually referring to random words one might think were real--like me with zooey--only to find out they weren't, rather than the ones the girls used for themselves like "dibble" and "stale" and so on

I'm pretty sure I've heard the word "zooey" other than in BSC land.
