They worked together on everything, but who do you think could take the credit for being the leader on the most worthwhile stuff? This is a question instead of a poll because I can't for the life of me remember who was in charge of what. It probably depends on what you consider to be "worthwhile".
Kristy, for example, got a point for starting the Krushers. She did not get a point for taking a bunch of kids to a carnival on Mother's Day or making an ugly baby float.
Dawn organized the fundraiser for the Zuni kids and did a beach cleanup in Cali. Two points.
How would you tally the members' scores?

Off the top of my head, I "vote" for Kristy. I have always felt she cared more fiercely about the kids than any other sitter. To be "fair" I'm not sure how that translates into being "civic" but she certainly cared about giving the charges some positive experiences--which imo counts for a whole lot. Over the weekend, I can try and go though my "Timeline" which among other things has "Plot" and "Subplot" for every book and see if it will copy/paste on here. It is in a "Table" so it might not.

I'm thinking Dawn and Stacey because they taught their clients about pollution, etc. in Dawn Saves The Planet.

I was really curious about specific events. If they were filling out college applications, who could say they led what? I thought about the recycle project too, anzuhana. That's three points for Dawn. (Zoar3's head is going to explode!)
I think Kristy could get credit for actually starting the club, but I don't think baby-sitting in general really deserved a pat on the back. They could all put down "held an after school job". I may take back what I said the first time about the baby float. That was a community event, and Kristy led a submission into it. One point for ugly float?

Lol, my head is exploding as I type. I am not sure about Dawn and Stacey's class simply because of how Dawn "taught" it. It was a great idea, that didn't exactly run (imo) very positively. I'll think about it.

^ If nothing else, Dawn brought a recycling center to Stoneybrook.

I'm going to go with Kristy. She's all about organizing events for the kids and the parents.

^True, but was it ever mentioned again? Not much of anything was ever mentioned again.

I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in Dawn and the School Spirit War.

Kristy, for example, got a point for starting the Krushers. She did not get a point for taking a bunch of kids to a carnival on Mother's Day or making an ugly baby float. Even though Claudia suggested Sudsy's Carnival, the idea for a Mother's Day outing had already been established, originally thought up by Kristy herself. They were just looking for a venue to bring the kids. Claudia was fortunate to sit for Jamie and Lucy and came across the flier at their house. So, I think that Kristy should still get full credit for thinking up the whole excursion in the first place.

^I think I just meant that I didn't believe the actual carnival event was worthy of special recognition regardless of who was in charge of it. I don't remember what I was thinking yesterday, never mind 4 years ago, haha.

Hands down, Kristy! I think the whole BSC idea was a civic enterprise and she organized all of those community fairs and events. She could have been a 13 year old mayor.

Yep. Kristy for sure. She's the idea machine as described in the chapter 2s. She organized the BSC of course and the baby parade thing (well, the ugly float was, um, not exactly awarding...) and the softball team and she did those fundraisers and carnivals and all that. Virgoscorpio, I could easily imagine her as the mayor of Stoneybrook!
