This thread was inspirated by a hilarious moment that happen in Karen's Leprechaun (which I finished reading a few days ago). It has to be one of my favourite Karen Brewer moments in history...
So Karen meets a man who she thinks is a leprechaun (when he is really just a little person). He tells a story about finding gold at the end of the rainbow and Karen actually believes this as truth. After it rains one day, she sees a rainbow and decides to sneak out of the house and ride her bicycle to find it.
Note: it is said that she rides soooo far that she reaches the Big House neigbhourhood. But in the map of Stoneybrook (Complete Guide), the Little House and the Big House neigbhourhood do not look that far apart at all...
She realizes she won't be able to find it so she GETS OFF HER BIKE AND PROCEEDS TO RUN INTO THE WOODS. She runs and runs and runs until she is lost.
The whole scene made me burst out laughing because I am imagining a frantic Karen tossing her bike aside and running into the woods without any direction. Stupidly funny.

LMAO!! I have never read this! My sister and I were reading your summary out loud and laughing! Karen just seemed to act younger and younger as the series progressed didn't she? So who found her shivering alone in the woods at the end? Don't tell me...it was Morbidda Destiny wasn't it?
I love the time when Karen looked like a Turkey dancing onstage...oh wait!
I was mildly entertained in Karen's Tea Party whenever she set foot in the kitchen and her friends were acting unserious.

i absolutely hate karen and wish she would have been left in the woods, but even so there is a part in haunted mansion where she is wiping away tears with her sleeve. i think that's the only point in the whole series where i don't dislike her, and actually really feel for her. she seems like a sweet little kid then, not a stuck-up manipulative jerk. it's kind of mean to say that my favorite moment is when she's crying, but oh well :]

^I truly dislike Karen, too, Oldhickory. The only time I really felt for her was I think in KGI when she teared up over Lisa's broken ankle. I THINK she might have tried to be caring toward Andrew earlier in that book when he got upset over their parents being divorced.

Lol, I've never read it either, it sounds pretty amazing...haha, Morbidda Destiny ;D One of my favorite Karen moments is in Karen's Goodbye when she and Amanda take memory pictures and she organizes Amanda's party.

Interesting favourite Karen moment, booboo.
I disliked Karen initially but the Little Sister series somehow MAKES you like her. So I truly do not mind her anymore. Maybe because I have more of "Karen's perspective".
And the running in the woods moment was seriously hilarious. For a smart kid like Karen, she sure had some dumb moments. How do you know that you won't get lost running into the woods???!

One of my favorite moments was in Karen's Cowboy when she and Jenny convinced Jon that his great-grandmother, Annie, was happy at the mine at the Arrow-A ranch.

^ Jon was thinking that he shouldn't run his ranch because he didn't think he would be good at it but Karen and Jen showed him that his great-grandmother, Annie, was happy at the ranch (as well as the current guests), which convinced Jon to keep running it.

Another moment I really like. All the things that were happening in Karen's Pen Pal and how competitive both girls got.
