So I was browsing through Princeton, NJ today on Google maps and looking at houses (I know, it sounds a bit crazy!) when I came across a house in Princeton that reminded me of a possible Thomas-Brewer mansion or Korman mansion. Check it out: www.trulia.com/property/3065858822-33-Cleveland-Ln-Princeton-NJ-08540Be sure to browse through all the pics

That house seems really small to be either of their houses, though. Maybe it's more like Abby's or Shannon's house? Remember that Kristy's house had bedrooms for everyone plus guest rooms and a playroom.

That's true - maybe it's just better suited as a Stoneybrook house?

I think that it could be the Stevenson house because in one of the books, I can't for the life of me remember which though, Kristy says that her house has nine bedrooms.

Now that you mention it, I can see this as the Stevenson mansion more and more *although* their house was newly built (so built in the mid-1990s) haha

^Kristy does say it has nine bedrooms a couple times, I think. BUT, I don't think she ever counted the 3rd or 4th floors. Most likely Watson's mansion had the library, den, study?, living, dining room, kitchen, mudroom, and at least one half bathroom if not 2 on the first floor.
It always sounded like everyone slept on the second floor. For some very strange reason, probably only for Snowbound, apparently the kids all shared one bathroom. I don't believe that for a second. We know each kid had his own bedroom so that by itself makes 7. The master suite, plus Nannie's room would make the 9. Kristy always said there were a couple extra guest rooms. (We know Bart stayed in one as did Mary Anne and Dawn. Oh, So did Richard and Sharon). The second floor probably had at least 4-5 bathrooms.
The third floor was said to be mainly bedrooms so there were probably at least 2-3 additional bathrooms on that level too.
The 4th floor was supposed to be the attic. I do remember Kristy or was it Dawn (when David Michael played ghost) saying it was comprised of several rooms. There could have been bathrooms up there too.
IOW, the place was gigantic!

Very true, zoar! I do like how the house in the picture has a mud-room, which was very Brewer mansion-esque to me.

It also has the pantry, which reminds me of the pantry turned office space for Nannie when she started making chocolates.

There's a house a few blocks from my parents' that by my count has 8 or 9 bedrooms. I'll see if I can find a picture. It's a great house. (We were friends with people who used to live in it.)

I wouldn't mind seeing it. It sounds like the house looks interesting due to the amount of bedrooms it might have.
