You know those t-shirts people have made with their kids/grandkids' pictures on them? They totally should have put Mary Anne in one with Logan's face on it for one of the vacation super special covers. Still not sure how they could stick Shannon on the cover too...

Maybe Shannon could've somehow gone on the trip with them.

The Complete Guide could have been a good place to put Logan and Shannon in.

I guess I never really cared enough about Shannon to want more books about her. I really liked her in Kristy's Mystery Admirer when she was mostly just Kristy's friend, but the more she became a friend to the whole group the less interesting she was to me. I feel the same way about Shannon. I liked books where the girls interacted with other friends outside the BSC, like Jessi with her dance school friends, Jessi with Wendy before they tried her as a BSC member...come to think of it, Jessi had a lot of interaction with people outside the BSC. She also had Elise in Jessi's Gold Medal. Anyway, it made them seem more well-rounded and interesting. At least to me.

Maybe Shannon could've somehow gone on the trip with them. It seems like all the main girls are always able to trek across the world together at the drop of a hat... you would think Shannon would have had the same luxury. Maybe her thousands of extracurricular activities kept her from travelling

^ In Shannon's Story, Shannon could've gone to Paris but when she found out that her mom was going as well, she purposely flunked the exam and as a result, she couldn't go.

The cover of Starring the Baby-sitters Club has all the main members of the BSC, including Logan, doesn't it? I mean still no Shannon, but that might be the closest.

^ I just checked and Logan is on the cover of Starring the Baby-sitters Club as well as the other main members except Abby, who wasn't in the series at the time.

Right, anzuhana, thanks! I always forget about Abby, she was just after my original back in the day reading of the BSC. (The last regular series book I bought was Kristy and the Dirty Diapers, where Abby and Anna first appear in the series.) I've recently aquired a few of the books after that time though and I kind of like how Abby puts Kristy in her place sometimes about her dictatorial influence over the club. And I've always loved that Anna turned them down flat because she had something more important in her life. Though she obviously likes kids because she and Dru were jamming together.

When I was rereading some of the books from about #69 to #80, it seemed really weird to have Shannon at all the meetings in all of the books but still not get to narrate any books of her own. I never even thought about it when I was a kid, but now not only does it seem like a missed opportunity because I like Shannon and would like to read more books from her point of view, it also seems really jarring and wrong for her not to be narrating any of the books while she's a full time member.
