Which books from the entire BSC franchise remind you of February? Which books do you like to read in February. They may be a typical Valentine's Day book -- like Karen in Love, Abby's Unvalentine or Stacey and the Stolen Hearts -- or they may just be a book published in February.
For me, one of the books I initially think of is Jessi and the Troublemaker. This is especially fitting right now because it's February and there's no snow on the ground (same as in the book). I love the scene in which Mal and Jessi are trying to catch snowflakes on their tongues.
Also, I think of Abby and the Mystery Baby when she's running outside in the cold weather and the Wheeze Wagon pulls up beside her.

my mind immediately went to secret society, especially the scene where abby is breaking up with all of her sports equipment because the season is all wrong.

I also thought of Abby and the Secret Society as well, mostly because Abby talked to her sports equipment in the first chapter. I also thought of Karen's Secret Valentine where almost everyone had a secret valentine (the only one didn't have a secret valentine was Nancy, I think) and Karen's secret valentine was Pamela.

I always think of Kristy and the Missing Fortune. She mentions everyone having cabin fever in February. I like to read that one, Karen's in Love, and Mary Anne vs. Logan.

I always read Mary Anne and the Great Romance because it's about old flames reuniting and marrying and it involves my 2 favorite sitters, Dawn and Mary Anne. Though I also think of Abby's UnValentine because abby really hates Valentines Day and her opinions are pretty much like mine. It's not a real Holiday etc...but it is fun to celebrate if you have that certain special someone in your life

Are there any early BSC Valentine's Day books where they all go to a dance?

"Kindergarten snacktime" at SMS according to Laine in Stacey's Ex Best Friend That girl was totally PMS-ing and wanted to be at King's party LOL Karen's in Love cause it's the first Ann M. Martin Valentine's book I read. I loved reading about the Valentine's day breakfast and want all that food and those barrettes , the class party with playing those games and having red hots (yum), Natalie Springer playing the violin and about making valentine's day cards and how sweet it was when Karen and Ricky gave each other theirs, and Pamela's birthday party when reading about the lootbags.
