If we fast-tracked to 2012, and the BSC members *actually* aged, they would be adults by know. My question to you: what types of homes could you see them living in? Keep in mind: this question is very open-ended!

Dawn seemed to really love her dad's house in California. She'd probably want one just like it if she were still living in CA. She did love the farmhouse in CT, too, though. If she were still on the East Coast, I could see her buying an old house with hopes for another secret passage. Mary Anne would want a house with a fireplace she could sit by while reading or knitting. Something cozy, not necessarily huge, but also enough space for the two or three kids she'd probably have. Stacey - NYC apartment, of course! Claudia would convert part of whatever house she had into an art studio with good lighting.

I lived in a townhouse for much of the time I was into the series, so I would always imagine the bsc and charges living in houses that looked like mine or friends that lived nearby.
as for their adult lives, Stacey would have a really nice condo where she could see a skyline
claudia would have a flat where she could set up all her art and studio, I agree with the last poster
mallory may go for a library and nature theme with neutral colours....and will appreciate her red hair cause I personally love the colour
logan will live on a farmhouse with animals...like dawn!

Dawn - a house similar to her Californian house.
Stacey - NYC condo.
Claudia - I'm not sure whether she'll in live in a house or apartment but like candykane posted, she would convert part of a room into an art studio with good lighting
Mallory - townhouse. I think one of the rooms would be a library.

Maybe that's just human psychological attachment to books -- memories, visions, etc of where you were when you were reading them. Also, the visual comparison probably helps.

Yeah I truly believe that as well, in retrospect it's more about us and where we were at the peak of our BSC fandom than about the series and characters themselves.

Bwahahaha Mary Anne and the "unbelievably cat friendly house" made me laugh. My cousin's husband built a cat jungle gym that takes up an entire wall of their apartment

For some reason I can see dawn moving into one of those old falling down homes and be one of those people that fix them up. Kind of like in a protest "don't knock down the Prescott home! It's one of a kind!"

I see Kristy and Claudia living in Minnesota in rather spacious, but simple homes in the suburbs.
Since I see them as business owners, they'd have offices and studios as well.
Mary Anne a New York City duplex or sort of town home that's cat and kid-friendly and has a small yard.
Her house also has a huge, welcoming kitchen since she's involved with lots of humanitarian work along with teaching and sometimes invites these humanitarian groups and those they help to dinner, even though she often orders take-out.
Mary Anne always did have plans to live in NYC as an adult.
Stacey, I have her live in a small city in Vermont...either an airy apartment or a town home like Mary Anne.
Abby and Anna, I have them live in a New Jersey suburb...maybe in medium brick solid houses.
Dawn would be living in Arizona with a huge skylight and lots of light and lots of Native American and Mexican decor.
She'd have lots of pots and dishes handmade by nearby Native American groups.

Mary Anne would live somewhere like this or this! That's another possibility, even in NYC. I definitely see Mary Anne with several cats...she always loved cats in book canon.

I can see Dawn living in a house that is similar to her father's. Stacey is definately going to live in a New York penthouse. Mary Anne is definitely going to move into an apartment that is animal friendly. Logan is going to live in a frat house. That is if he doesn't marry Cokie Mason before his time.
